Happy Easter Jazee, I hope you manage your NSD.0

Happy Easter to you too PWPS. I may have to delay the dog walking for a little while - just had a full English breakfast and can hardly move at all.Spend less now, work less later.0

Well no NSD yesterday or today but nothing extravagant. We spent some time yesterday switching bank account but will probably have to wait to tomorrow to progress it further. Have also said to DD that she doesn't have to pay us token rent anymore when she starts new job, it will be her opportunity to save for her future.
DH has now lost everything he won this weekend with a reckless bet - Leeds to win - 2 -0 down as I type!Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning diary. First things first. I have already spent £4.20 today on bread but at least packed lunches are sorted for the week. And I have transferred all money in rubbish savings accounts in bank we are closing to a better account.
Back to the paid stuff today so shouldn't need to spend any more money unless DH finds bargains of course (there's no stopping him).Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Further progress made with the bank switching, telephone and online banking set up for the new account, just need to get some money in there now. No more spends today as too busy with the paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.0

I've been searching round for a decent savings account for my pennies. There doesn't really seem to be one. I wanted somewhere to put my tidy ups away from the day to day account. I love paying small amounts to savings on a daily basis. It's a habit from paying off the debts and one I plan to keep. However, the bank account pays the best interest. So I'm not sure what to do!

Thanks for popping in Piq. I agree about the savings account, but I am trying to just keep money separate for different things: Christmas, emergencies, every day things.
Well bank switching is progressing well and should be complete this week. In other news I have tried to put free anti virus on this computer today and am not sure I've done it properly.
No NSD this week but low spend days so I'm happy with that. I need to get quite a lot done today as we're busy tomorrow so I'd better crack on.
I hope anyone reading has a good day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

I had a lie in, go me. I've only been up 30 minutes and all I have to think about this weekend, all 3 days, don't you know, is walking the dogs and doing gardening. We may pop to shops to get varnish for our new interior doors but that will be about it.
MSE things going well: bank account switched (well one of them, the other can wait), savings where they should be and spends under control.
Just remembered we're off to see a play tonight from the tickets I bought months ago. Ooh, I'm quite excited now.
I hope anyone reading has a lovely weekend.Spend less now, work less later.0
