Order cancellation timescale??

Thanks bod. Too late to change now but it wont change anything. Am I missing anything with all this... I mean, does anyone think they may have some ace up their sleeve or any legitimate reason why they could keep the money? It seems to me open and shut, but I am bias.

I can't see any legitimate reason they could keep your money - assuming what you've posted here is an accurate account of how things went down.

Everything here is a true and accurate account, down to the spelling mistakes. Nothing has been left out at all, there would be no need to do that.

Anyone in Hull on the 18th Feb can meet me in Ye Olde White Harte around 1ish after the hearing to discuss.

Update - I won!! They didn't turn up. They sent a statement saying they paid me (less £25) but they hadn't so the judge made an order for all of it. Next step is to actually get the money.

It's been an experience and a good lesson.

Hello everyone... Looks like this is finally over. The money was transferred in to my bank this morning! No messing around after an email from me telling them the bailiffs will be getting called in if payment is not made immediately as per the order. The boss actually called and was very polite about it all... A far cry from his employees!

Lessons learned -

1. Research companies more thoroughly.
2. Don't be afraid of taking them to court if necessary, it isn't painful at all.
3. MSE forum is brilliant!
