Also, does anyone else feel dissatisfied that after paying for their order, at the end of the day, Kitchen Arts are just giving a refund, because its just too hard to deliver the item/s we have purchased. Honestly, I just want my coffee machine to arrive!! I got it for a bargain price, and if they can't deliver, they why should it be okay for Kitchen Arts to still market that they have it in stock, ready for immediate dispatch, and now whole paragraphs of new info on their website with false promises like "98% of our deliveries make it on time to their destination". That just seems completely false advertising to me!!!!!

I believe it is still fraud at the end of the day, if you take someone's money, allow them to believe for 2-4 weeks that you are going to provide them with a product, and then refund the full amount 1 month later, expecting that there should be complete customer satisfaction??!!!

It's certainly dishonest to advertise goods, take the payment and then issue a refund. Are we assuming they do that on EVERY order?? How can they make money on that, banks charge business customers a transaction fee on every payment, and every refund. Advertising is very expensive and the costs of operating a website and answering emails and making refunds must be huge.. and for what?

Just one more point: I'm actually offended a little by the suggestion that I should have known it was a scam because the price was so cheap... well actually the price of my product was only 4 pounds cheaper than Amazon and it was a 80 pound product, that's cheap but not so cheap as to make me think it's too good to be true.

It's clearly established that people sometimes have to complain and get their money back from this site... have we yet established if ANYONE has been refused a refund and/or been left with no product and no refund after say 3 weeks??

I mention 3 weeks because that's how long I had to wait with Amazon once before I could even question delivery.. just google "amazon.co.uk royal mail" and you will see.. It took me a lot longer to get a refund from Amazon than it did with Kitchenarts. With Amazon we just assume that most orders are delivered, we don't actually know how many Kitchenarts orders get delivered on time do we ??

Please could everyone email: kitchenartsfraud@gmail.com and I will pass all this information onto HSBC fraud department who this company or individual banks with, they will then co-operate with the police in identifying

Personally I do not believe there is a Thomas, a Michael a whoever at this operation but all the same person.

The replies of Michael are totally indicative of fraudulent activity and the excuse concerning Packetpost is nonsense. Packetpost have a 1-3 day turnaround depending on whether the user pays for 1st or 2nd class and Royal Mail are not experiencing delays.

There are many possibilities here but it really doesn't matter a jot; KitchenArts are taking people's money and then not delivering the goods plain and simple and as yet there is not one credible report here of anyone receiving what they paid for.

Please also could those who 'claim' to have received direct refunds or goods not email me - all I want to hear is from people who have to this date given KitchenArts money and not received goods or a refund, or those that originally paid through paypal and received a refund that way i.e. it was paypal who actioned it and not Kitchen Arts.

It is very easy for Kitchen Arts to register here and make fake claims of receiving refunds to placate those who are waiting.

Also when emailing me, if you have already reported your case of suspected fraud here: actionfraud.police.uk then please let me have the crime reference number and I will collate all and keep pursuing this.

    Thanks

I am pleased you got a refund, and also delivery of a parcel, you seem to be the only one! Can't help wondering if you are writing on behalf of the company, your initials match Michael Lucas?

I really wouldn't give this company any further personal information especially not bank account details.

Think of it this way - if the company is legit and we let the police and HSBC contact them and investigate then we'll all get our money back soon or we'd actually get our goods.

If however we send them further info and they are bogus, not only will we not get anything back but we'll probably lose more.

DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY ANY FURTHER INFO - just file a crime report, collate the references and we can proceed.

Please could everyone a victim of potential fraud by Kitchen Arts:

    1. file a report with actionfraud.police.uk and you will receive a crime reference number. This means the police are aware and will slowly investigate.

    2. email me at: kitchenartsfraud@gmail.com

Let me know your crime reference number - thanks.
You do not need to tell me any personal information, the crime reference number is private and confidential but will contain all the necessary information. Only the police can view the information contained within.

I will collate all and send to the Police again, HSBC fraud department - their bank and if necessary a solicitor specialising in consumer fraud.

DO NOT DO NOTHING, WAITING IN HOPE FOR YOUR GOODS OR A REFUND - if they are legit, neither the Police or HSBC will harm their business AND YOUR GOODS WILL ARRIVE but if they are criminals then the quicker the police and HSBC take action the quicker they will be apprehended and prevented from inflicting their crime of others.

    thanks

Well I have also fallen for this scam. Ordered a Gaggia Gelatiera (for £189.99!) last Sunday and I was surprised to get an immediate confirmation and request to pay by transfer. Stupidly, I thought that this must be a small company and not set up for online transactions so I did not think anything of it and duly paid. I got an email confirming my order and then a follow up email confirming that they payment had been received on Monday last week and radio silence ever since. I have emailed them constantly since Wednesday last week and after I googled them and found this site. Avoid these people at all costs and do not make the same mistake as me, check them out first before sending money! I cannot believe these people are still trading and have not been dealt with by the police by now?!
