MSE News: Yodel boss: No apology for delays but 'deliveries getting better'

In 2012 MSE reported on their discussion with Yodel:
"From this autumn all calls to our contact centre will be free from a landline and our customer service can also be contacted by email and social media. You can also track your parcels online or contact the sender for advice."
Now you have to ring an 0844 number. Tracking online just tells you the parcel is out for delivery on that day, no idea what time it might arrive, which can be up to 9pm.
Then use a supplier that uses DPD.
DPD invested in the software to provide near real time tracking via its predict software.
However it costs more to use them0
