Fast day for me today too.
But only as I fast on the days GF starts her shift. So I can do my own meal and not make more work round the kitchen. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Fast day is over....almost. Got 50 odd calories left to have a cup of tea later!
I had the new Covent Garden pulled pork soup (Soup of the Month range). Only 270 calories in the carton and really filled me up! Highly recommend it- not to mention it tasted great on a cold evening!
Might watch that I'm a Celeb- usually a great way of being put off eating!0 -
Well, I had a remarkable week last week. Friday and Saturday especially I felt amazing, the downside was I didn't fast, for a particular reason and that's that something 'switched' in me and I was able to ea foods with out having poor reaction so I decided to make the mos of it for a couple of days. However....still need to control weight and keep things going, so novelty over, back on track today.
More difficult to fast this morning, and honestly, am peckish tonight. This is atypical for me. Last week I could have eared the world, this is also fairly unusual for me. Nevertheless, I'm standing firm. I think today might be because of letting appetite run riot last week, So will be being tight tomorrow too.
Considering three fast days this week. Especially if I can eat food I like on the between days,0 -
Had an exceptionally easy fast day yesterday, but seem to be craving all sorts of rubbish today! Will fast again tomorrow and might make it 3 days this week.0

Fast day again, just the way GF's shifts worked out this week. I have had a STS for the last month on weight, but that has included 2 weeks of 6:1 and a week of 7:0 (I was on holiday in the Borders and making the most of it -though I had one day when I went over my feast day calories target by almost 300 Calories and stuck to it the rest of the time) - also no cardio or strength training on holiday apart from plenty of waking. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Second fast day this week for me too. Going for three this week, but with a bigger meal than usual on Fridays supper.
Alternatively I had considered eating tomorrow morning and lunch time, but fasting Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon.
I know a few people have mentioned fast their twenty four hours like that, but I take calendar days, therefore I suppose fasting longer than twenty four hours.
Any one here do twenty four hours rather than calendar days?. If it works for me I'd like to three : four that way, but getting reliable breakfast and lunch on Thursdays and not wanting supper seems tricker to me, too organised!

Back on the fasts again for me before Christmas! Have let things spiral a bit the last few weeks...
Spring vegetable soup for lunch - 130 calories
Possibly Broccoli with chilli and garlic for dinner - 287 calories.
What are you all having?Wish it win it 2013

Starting Monday fast feeling a bit battered, last nights supper didn't agree with me. So looking forward to giving stomach a day off.
I want to do three fast days again, but this week's schedule is tricky. Friday is a poor day for a fast for me I think, though might be able to do like last week and eat just in the evening. Any of these first four weekdays are possible though. So I'll take today as a definite and look at the schedule later before meal planning for the roast of the week.0 -
Succumbed and bought a bathroom scales after not having one for nigh on 30 years! Am not really overweight anyway, just not happy with the amount of spare tyre I've accumulated of late.
I started counting calories on Sparkpeople, but lost the will to live with it, so just eating 6-10 almonds, a small apple and some lentil curry, as posted by someone earlier in this thread, with a boiled egg and am hoping that will do for today.
I start to waiver around 7pm and really have to stop myself raiding the fridge. Still can eat tomorrow.0
