In my expereince, eating a proper Raw Food vegan diet can be a wonderful gastronomic experience and extremely good for your digestive system.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

I didn't mean eat everything raw - I meant "real" food as in vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, eggs, etc - rather than stuff loaded with stabilizers, flavourings, colours and so on.0 -

Food poisoning is a health risk for all people eating raw foods, some vegetables contain toxins that are destroyed by cooking and meats and fish can contain parasites.
Also try eating a beef bull in it's natural state and see where it gets you.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I eat raw fish and, occasionally, red meat. It hasn't caused me any problems at all.
Maybe I'm just lucky, or it could be that it is what my body has evolved to cope with.0 -
Morning everyone,
I've just finished my first week of the lite version of this, 2 days at 14/10 and 5 days at 16/8. So far pretty good. The last two hours before I can eat are the hardest, but the rest of the time I'm fine, and have the same reduced hunger as others report. The only time I was close to binge mindset was when I was bored so nothing to do with needing food at all.
I have a question about exercise though. Exercising fasted is supposed to be really good for you, and I can do this at the weekend, but not in the week because of work. Would it be detrimental to exercise at 5am and not eat until 12? I'm not doing anything cardio yet, just some conditioning exercises crunches and squats to try and build some strength up.
The eating window which works best for me is 12-8 because sometimes I don't get back from work until 7.Debt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.0 -

Cooking can sometimes destroy the goodness and sometimes it can enhance it.
Crossing the road can be dangerous..;)0 -

Basically, women can greatly differ from men in the benefits of of IF and or with working out etc and on top of that everyone is different, so if you were me I would give it a go if you fancy trying it and just keep an eye on yourself. Feeling great intially isn't necessarily the final indicator of whtether it is good for you (as opposed to others) as you'll see from the feedback to the linked article, though many women do seem to thrive, others systems get out of balance, indicated by periods stopping/sleep disturbance.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

I like sashimi but would order it in a restaurant not attempt it myself.
Pickled fish I would attempt myself though.
Haven’t eaten raw meat since I lived in Germany, that’s why Germans have a step or washout toilet though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
