Actually, if you could get hold of some Dioralyte that might be a great help to you because it replaces all the lost vitamins and minerals. My husband has actually taken it for a hangover and it has worked. If you have any milk thistle then that is very good for hangovers, it gives the liver a boost. Not saying you have a hangover but generally.
You can make your own oral rehydration solution - add 6tsps sugar and 1/2tsp salt to a litre of water. The B vitamins help to cleanse the liver too. Berocca is a fantastic hangover cure“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I've never tried Berocca. Sounds good. Milk thistle is a tremendous and natural boost to the liver and gall bladder. I had a period of time a few years ago when I suffered from nausea. Milk thistle was the only thing that sorted me out.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
Well done everyone for the steady losses!
I've been following this way of eating for nearly 6 months, (I think that's what I worked it to be) although I've had a few weeks were I didnt fast. I have been loosing about 1/2 to 1lb a week which is great for me.
Unfortunatly I dont have any trouble eating on my non-fast days, but I am more aware of what I am eating - getting a lot more veg in and a bit less junk. That comes in to it of course but I've always said I'll see how I feel when I get down to 10 stone. I'm still flabby around my tummy and thighs so I don't think I'll be happy whatever weight I am until they've reduced a bit
Thankfully my bingo wings aren't nearly as bad now I've built some muscle up
I feel like this re my target weight - its so difficult to set I think. I am not far off but I may aim to lose a little more as my tummy is still fabby. I think I would be pleased with my body shape/ weight now had I not lost any from my hips / thighs - I carry very little weight there anyway. I just want a nice stomach! Also, I keep hearing about the dangers of fat around the abdomen.
I have started weights too! I have some muscle - I think I need to do some different moves - not just the bicep curl. But wow- really mades a difference:T0 -
Bicep curl is one of the last weight exercises you should add to the mix. Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press or Military Press. Get your compounds in before you start on the isolation stuff. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

well fast going well today, even with an unplanned missing lunch, so that gave me more for my evening meal.
So added prawns as well as white fish to my curry which made it quite filling at the time
I suppose because I was busy and out I didn't really miss my usual late lunch and would of been silly to have it at 4pm when I would be eating at 6pm.Following horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier
Total Loss=41.6lb0 -
So how's it going everyone? Except for one or two signatures, I can't tell, but I did notice the thread is just a few days over a year old - is the weight loss going well for the folks who have been doing it for a year?
We're thinking of doing this, or the juice only, to make us healthier. We wondered how you are all feeling and if it's working.

So finished a fast day today - yeay! Hardest part was actually trying to study at home and focus. Suffice it to say at least 4 cups of tea were consumed! I even went to Body pump class in fasted state. Don't no if there is anything to say I can't do that - but open to anyone who knows. Came home and thought I would eat my dinner right away, but suprised to realise I put it in microwave and forgotten all about it - and I never forget to eat! - off to enjoy my dinner. No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0

You can exercise but must still stick to the 500/600 calories of your fast (depending on whether you are male or female). The reason I know this is because I saw a tweet where Michael Mosley was asked the same question. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

I have done body pump, body combat and metafit fasted but only one at a time. Some fitness people recommend training in a fasted state. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
