Thsnk you all so much for your help, will keep on trying!
Having problem with my 'thanks' button!
Happy to help.;)
Please post to let us know if you're successful.........and what event you've got tickets for. It would be great to hear some good news.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. If you don't manage to buy tickets via the London 2012 website (and you've said you'll go to London anyway), you might consider trying these options:
www.sportsworld.co.uk
International House,
1 St Katherine’s Way,
London,
E1W 1UN.
When I called to collect my tickets on Monday 30th July, they had some tickets available for sale.;)
Another place you could try is Eventeam2012 France.
http://www.eventeam2012.fr/fr_fr/off...s_JO_2012.aspx
CLUB FRANCE
OLD BILLINGSGATEEC3R 6DX LONDON
1 OLD BILLINGSGATE WALK
ACCES 16 LOWER THAMES ST
There were long queues at Club France on Saturday 4th August...............but they were selling Olympic Games tickets.;)
You can buy with confidence from both of the above..........I've bought tickets from both and attended the events.
Best of luck.
Regards

https://london2012.sportsworld.co.uk/ says they've sold out (there's been loads of press about them) but I guess it might be worth a punt of you're desperate.0

Are they not admitting to park between Olympic/Paralympic, or after both?.
Surely at £10 a throw they would make millions, just to walk round the gardens, etc.0 -

To be fair they are probably going to be sorting the park, getting the Olympians out and the Paralympians in and making sure it is accessible as possible for those with disabilities and they will want to get a feel for the place.
Even before the Olympics they were not letting people into the Olympic Park to look around.0 -
Anyone know what happens when the Olympics are finished , will it be open to the public then? We would like to go and see it even if its all over eventwise..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

You won;t be able to go in just yet as the Paralympics will be on and they have to get ready for that.
A lot of the shops are 'pop up' stores and will go just as quick as they went up so they will be gone but I reckon they'll keep the Orbit open for a while yet. I am sure they have plans and you'll be able to go and have a look around (for a price of course tho!!)0 -

Boris Johnson mentioned this on the news yesterday. He said the plans are currently that it will not be open to the public, and will quickly be transformed so that it keeps its value.
However, they have seen the high demand for public access, so it's being debated if it could be left open for a period to let people visit.
I imagine they will release something official very soon - but at £10 a go, it'd be a big boost to London's budget if they kept it open for a while.0 -
Thing is, it's £10 a go now but it's largely staffed by volunteers. It won't be quite so profitable with paid staff. They certainly won't want another London Pleasure Gardens . Given that 2 million people have visited in the last two weeks and there's the Paras to come, are there *that* many people left who won't have seen the place? Plus, without any events going on, it is really just a load of buildings round a river and the river isn't going anywhere...0
