I have only just recently sent a nice email to Virgin Media praising the technician that installed my second V+ box and what a nice job and friendly chap he was.

I emailed original source about a year go, genuinly telling them I loved their website, They had some silly games on there and it cheered me up.
2 week later got a big box of their stuff
THAT cheered me up even more
I have sent email before to companies to praise them on their goods and have not even had a thank you email back
Mind you I did complain about staff at our local asda and our local home bargains and got no reply either!!
Also sent an email to complain about an article in one of my fav magazines this week and have heard nothing back either.
Might even it out and write to someone nice and see what I can get

I always say a big thanks when I think they deserve it. I recently told the store manager in Newlook abou the fab service I received and she said she would pass on the comments. I have done it in other shops and the just looked at me as if I was mental and walked away as soon as they could.
I know someone who got a lot of help with her shopping at a supermarket when someone got soaked in rain helping her so she called the store to thank him, she then got a call back saying the person had been given a days paid holiday. So it not only helped her but made his day too.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
on the subject of freebies for being nice, this mornin a recieved some easy pasta twists and a quick pasta sauce and recipe book from dolmio, this was all because i e-mailed them saying how much i like their products etc.0

I spoke to a really nice and friendly lady when i booked a mini-cruise through P & O, and I got a happy letter back, and when we went on the cruise, we'd been given a free cabin upgrade!!!:j
When I wrote to a windscreen repair place (can't remember which ones) telling their boss-guys how nice their whole Northampton team was (free chocolate biscuits too, as I was so tearful about my car being broken into), the N'ton team got a £50 bonus into their beer kitty....so they invited me and my friend to the pub to share in the alcohol!!!
Mind, I written two complaint letters today, and about to seek legal advice over my smoking 3-month old hotpoint washer/dryer ( had the engineers out 5 times already....now the stinky smoke make me think I want a new one!!)
Good luck to all others!
