What would you have told your younger self?
Comments

To my younger self:
- You're not fat. Or wrinkled. Or saggy - anywhere. When you're my age, you'll know what all of those things really are! :rotfl:
- Cellulite? Spell it 'Sell you lite" (Creams, lotions etc). Recognise what's going on here.
- Be yourself. Your real self. Really. Be true to that real self.
- You have the ability to achieve great things. Go for it.
- Choose your own 'great things' - not someone else's.
- If you have the ability to be a great [whatever], but your personal fulfillment comes from being a great 'wife and mother', then choose what is right for you.
- If you have the ability to be a great 'wife and mother', but your personal fulfillment comes from being a great [whatever], then choose what is right for you.
- tell your children all of the things you would have told your younger self
- accept their right to make the same mistakes that you did, and their right to make their own mistakes.
What went right:
- I learnt all of the above while I still have time to benefit!
- too many things to list (and I don't want to jinx them!)0 -

Love is supposed to make you happy - not miserable.
No man is worth giving up your child for - I'd go back and tell myself there is a way out and things can work out.
