Hugs to ((((MrsMix, Snowy, crazychik, lambanana, hilsteps dd and bargainbabes dh))))

Hope you're all having a good day. Trying to get back on top of the house today after the weekend. It really does get very bad and I've just given up at the wekends so monday is always a hard day and I'd really rather be out in the sunshine as it's pretty rare up here. WM is on third load and 2 loads drying in the sun. beds are changed, whole house hoovered, bathroom cleaned and Tesco shop done so just taking 10 minutes to myself before I continue and get all the floors washed and tea prepped.

had a lovely day in Glasgow yesterday. Chose my new car and I pick it up in 6 weeks. :j It really will make such a difference to my life to have my own car and not rely on OH to get lifts to work.
Didn't get much shopping done but took the girls to a big softplay then went to our favourite restaurant for a meal.

It is so obvious that my girls live in the sticks. When we went to a big Asda all they wanted to do was go up and down the escalator.:rotfl: I wasn't complaing as it's free entertainment after all. ;)
DD1 (10 minutes older than DD2) announced that she doesn't want to go to Disneyland Paris as she heard the advert which said it's where all your dreams come true. She said that she wouldn't like that as she sometimes has bad dreams and wouldn't like any of them to come true.:rotfl: Bless.

Donny-gal It was an unfamiliar brand of SC in Asda but it was definitely on the shelves.

    Must get back to housework.

    Bye for now.

    Good Afternoon All

    Hope we are well

What lovely sunshine we have, its nice to finish work on a day like today, instead of dodging the rain fall! just ironed uniforms ready for work/school tomorrow. WM on again!

haribo junkie how sweet of your DD1 to say that about Disney land! Ah bless her!

off to do the school run in a mo, then to the post office to post ebay parcels! You always get the odd one or two who never pay straight away!

Bubble & squeek for dinner later, using left over bocolli, cabbage & mash, cooked with garlic, mushrooms & bacon, then side dish of left over roast butternut squash, parsnips & potatoes.Mmmmm!

    Best be off
    Love as usual

    Hi everyone,

Not a lot happening here - at w*r* by myself so it's very quiet.

OSing - spoke to DD last night, she has been trying to find some curtains for her bedroom but can't find any so we decided that she would come up for the Easter weekend and we would buy some fabric and I would help her make some. It's ben years since I've made them but I know it was straightforward and she's much more creative than me so it should be ok. She also said that she and BF were lookng for a joiner to make up soem custom shelves for the bedroom so we agreed that he would come up as well and he and DH will make the shelves while said curtain making is going on!!! We've spent far more time on their new place than on doing anything on ours this year but we're happy to help.

Back to weightwatchers tonight groan, I know I've put weight on because of birthdays and choc consumption. Salad for dinner.
  • Got home half an hour early as Dd was sent down to the nursery, feeling ill. Felt quite pleased to get out really!

Thought I'd pop on and see how you're days going! Mrs. Mix - I'm glad it wasn't too bad for you at the hospital.

Thanks for the hugs for DH - but he'll be fine - he's just a man! (you know what I mean!)

Math - I had to laugh at your post - what do you think us women are - loose???!! Mind you after all those pictures of the hunks last week - I think a few of us were dreaming of a younger hunky model of a man!!

Anyway back to it, I think. Spog bol for tea sounds good, so thats what we'll have!!

Take care and enjoy the rest of the sunshine for today!!

    bbxx

Afternoon all - today is my non-working day which generally means that I work harder than the rest of the week catching up. I'm feeling very smug actually as so far I've sown the seeds in an entire square foot garden, started a new wine kit (black cherry - yum), and put a second coat of paint on every other stair. The last time I did this dd walked on the wet paint so I have put a teaspoon on the steps she's allowed to tread on - wish me luck.
The sun is shining and I have two loads of washing blowing in the wind.
I,ve also finished the christmas presents that are for my dbro and family. I have putting this off for months as I am an enthusiastic starter of projects but a lousy finisher but in the end it took less than half an hour. I don't know how I'm going to get them there though as we are going to gillingham on the train to watch Brentford fc v Gillingham (family derby so separate ends) and then catching the train to Aldershot where they live. I just hope there will be enough space on the terraces for a rucksack :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Afternoo all!

Well I decided to go shopping!! Set off full of excitement, and am now back, tired and like a deflated balloon!icon9.gif Why oh why is it that when I've money to spend on me I can't find anything I like that fits me (I know it would be easier if I lost some lard, but hey-ho) Of course if I was cashless there'd be rails of lovely garments just right for me:rotfl:

In my disappointment I had a look round John Lewis and have come home with a new alarm clock and a new frying pan:D Don't ever say the girl doesn't know how to live the high life:rotfl: Just spent the last 20 minutes working out how to work it! The alarm clock , that is I'm not that stupid:o It's got lovely large figures on it so my poor old eyes should be able to see the time more easily:D

Suppose I really ought to do some housework, at least some top-show stuff so they all think I've been busy.

    Bye for now,

    CMxxx

Didn't sleep till 6 - the hour changing didn't help

Did a few odd jobs but it is nice to have the place to myself.

Just want my car to arrive, the house to sell and be free to look and I will be happy.

I'm not good at waiting :(
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
