Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Monday 26th March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Up early again with lo as he woke when dh was getting ready for work:rolleyes: he was up most of night anyway:eek:

Shopping today, so must do my menu plans, also paying more towards holiday to florida:j was looking at website last night that shows pics of the meals u can get at the restaurants in disney, mmm yummy:D

Good morning kyle and all to follow... oooohh isnt it dark this morning?

i dont work on a monday.. but i have two friends comming over this morning for breakfast... well im not going to eat them !!! im cooking them a full English, with fresh crusty bread and fresh cofffee..mmm cant wait

ive decided to have a go at selling stuff on ebay, im going to have a good look around the house and see what can go !

made stock from the chicken yesterday, so need to turn that into soup today. also i want to try and have a go at making some sort of easy cookies.. anyone know of any easy peasy recipees ?

Amie, your breakfast sounds fabulous....

The current big deal in my life as some of you may remember is w*r* - I am not looking forward to this week at all. Funny, a week ago I was telling you all that life was the same old same old - looks like life is going to get another shake up after all.

Snowy - Hope work is better this week, hugs. I Have no idea how i manage on so little sleep, think i have just gotten used to it now:rolleyes: cant wait for the day when he sleeps all night:D

Hi everyone, Just a quick one as we are all runnning rather late.

I will have to stay late at work today to sort out some paperwork and so tea will probably be something quick and easy like a salad or omelette.

Good morning! I wasted a lot of yesterday due to a hangover! DH and I had a lovely Saturday evening with neighbours and some great wine but paid for it with one of those hangovers that won't go away until you've had a good night's sleep! Anyway, today's a new day. A bit darker this morning but I love the lighter evenings. Having a good clean-up today, making the roast we should have had yesterday as well as some cakes and will do my meal planner for the next couple of weeks. It's such a good way of not over-spending on food! Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi all,

I only woke up once last night! That's a miracle:rotfl: Maybe because on Sat night I was up till 4.30 with DD. She came in at 12.30 crying, saying she felt ill. Thought she was drunk, but she swore she'd only had three drinks. She was holding her stomach and head, shaking from head to foot, and crying. Didn't know what to do. Asked her if she'd taken anything, NO!, anyway had to sleep with her and watch her till she fell asleep. Se was eventually sick, and settled down afterwards.
Yesterday, I thought about it, and think that she had had a spiked drink. Thank goodness she had the sense to get a cab home again.:T

So last night I slept like a baby!
Work today, last week before Easter hols! Hurrah! two weeks off.:j

Hope everyone has a good day, going to make my porridge now.

Good morning everyoen,

I hate the clocks going forward - it puts my sleeping right out and i hate getting up in the dark!!! I have enough probs getting sleep as it is, so will prob be a grumpy old moo today!!!

Not many plans for today - i have 2 LOs here, and i bought some new 'scooby doo' toys for them to play with, (their new fav thing) so that should go down well. Also going to try and keep on top of the 'flylady' challenge, its the kitchen today, which i will crack on with whilst the LOs are having their lunch. If i still feel like i do at the moment, that really will be it for me today tho!!!!

Kyle my dd was like that up and down all night it does get better in the end hang on in there (((((hugs))))
well as I said I've got hospital this morning have a radioactive injection for this scan which takes about an hour of laying still and then go back 4 hours later to do it all again dh has the day of to come with me I'm not allowed prolonged contact with anyone being radioactive I'll be glowing in the dark tonight:eek::eek::D
not a lot else planned for the day other than school/college runs ect

Morning. I have missed out for a week or so... I have had an awkward shift pattern that means I am asleep in the morning. But this week off....
Looks liek a reasonable day. I have to go and get my boat out of the water and on to the trailor. That means a difficult sort of day, and I will probably get wet.
A few repairs and we should be back in business.
2 birthdays this weekend, daughter 13 and son 16.. Parties and presents
