Morning Everyone
I had a very busy weekend. Went to the Mayor's Ball on Friday night which was a lot of fun. Then Saturday night I went out for a meal and a boogie for my friend's birthday. I finally got to bed at 4.30am only to get up at 8am:eek:. Went out for a quick drink last night too.
Ever get the feeling you're being led on by someone. Thought I'd met someone nice, but after 5 weeks, nothing has happened - I'm talking no kiss. It just seems I'm someone to go out with when there's no one else around. Don't know what to do. Friends are telling me to put some space there and see what happens. What do you all think? I won't bore everyone with the details, but an initial gut reaction would be good!
Seeing Mr Money Man again later to finalise a mortgage. Had my first letter through from the solicitor:eek: how much do they want!!!!!
Going to the theatre this evening - free of course:T and I'm hoping to fly past a supermarket too and a petrol station.
hugs to all who need them especiall Mrs Mix & snowyComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Good morning people!
Had a great weekend. Did some time in the garden yesterday, planting, weeding and watering. Finished off with a bonfire to get rid of some of the twiggy stuff that we've pruned out of the hedge. Cooked pork for tea. Was going to do apple crumble (we still have HG apples in the shed) but due to the glut of eggs from the hens, we had Eve's pudding instead, with custard.
Have a couple of hours *w***ing from home* today, then plan to do a bit more in the garden, and a swish around the house.
DD has her dance show tonight, so looking forward to that.
Snoozer - glad you enjoyed Mary Poppins. I've been told that this production is closer to the book than Disney - much darker. We have tickets for the end of April for DD's and MIL's birthdays.
Queenie - great to see you back. How are your quail?
Mrs Mix - good luck with the scan.
Scuzz - that's no good. I'd agree - bit of space might work.
Happy birthdays to the junior N9eavs.
Snowy - everything crossed for you.
Hilstep - hope your DD is better soon.
Have a great day, hugs all round.

Morning all
Not quite with it yet - I always get really out of synch with this time difference - will take a good week to get used to it.
Like Mioliere I lost most of yesterday to a hangover - got up at 5am thinking the world was going to end where I felt so rough and then went back to sleep until 12 noon when DH woke me. Had to pop out and do a MS job and then it was back home for a bath and an early night.
Got a friend coming for lunch today so need to have a whip round with a damp cloth and the hoover, the ironing can wait until tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Scuzz - Mu gut instinct would be that the person wants to be friends or they could be shy, maybe would help putting some space between you to see what would happen, lets just say if i was seeing a man for 5 weeks i would have at least expected some kind of action from him:rotfl: hope u get it sorted:rolleyes: hugs
