Hello again! Hangover is over! Beautiful day here - warm and sunny. Tons of washing on the line and loads more to go out when that lot's dry. It's the sort of day when you go looking for extra washing just to make the most of a good drying day. Hilstep - glad you DD recovered - horrible experience for you both. mrs_mix - good luck with your scan. Pooky - hope your hangover has also disappeared! We don't learn, do we? We're drinking with same neighbours again this weekend and I just know I'll be in the same situation by Sunday. It's just so nice drinking wine with good friends, isn't it? Good luck to moggie and scuzz and, bargain babe - your DH's abscess sounds awful - hope the antibiotics work quickly. tiredmum - good luck with your job search!
Anyway, next lot of washing ready to go out (I'm trying not to think about the ironing! - do that tomorrow!) Got to peel veg for today's roast that we should have eaten yesterday but hangover prevented! Also have to wash the kitchen floor - hate doing that. Tried to push it on to DH but he escaped early this morning!
Anyway, lots of love to all - I can't seem to get smileys to add to my posts. Must be doing something wrong. I'll try later when I've had a bit more time.
Y'all have a good day!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Hello everyone!
Am not feeling too great today, think it's a flare.... I hope I'm a little better fro Wednesday so I can do a guest class at the school my friend teaches at. Going to try and rest as much as I can today and tomorrow. Having our 'new' drawers and dressing table delivered by OHs DM and DSD... OH had better hurry up and get back from work as they'll be here in less than an hour!
Will try and catch up with you all later and sort out greetings, hugs etc.... so tired and brain isn't working too great.... doing my pigsback cts was enough to tax my brain more than enough today!!

Well I'm back and I survived just it was unpleasant to say the least I had the injection which wasn't too bad the worst bit is laying on a solid metal bed a foot wide and keep still for 1 1/2 hours then I had to wait around for just over an hour to spend another 20 mins on it and I was starving been home about half an hour and have finally eaten so just waiting for my meds to kick in to clear the horrid headache I've got
(((more hugs)))
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Scuzz, all this coquettish peeking from behind your fan and playing hard to get only really works between the pages of a Jean Plaidy. In real life you must be far more direct and take the bull by the horn, so to speak!;)
Uncle MATH's Love Tip of the day is to ram ya tongue down this young fella-me-lads gullet and if he doesn't run crying for his mummy then consider yourself hitched.
We menfolk like to be wooed as well you know. I remember early in our courtship, Mrs MATH trying to woman-handle me in BHS slacks and seperates department, until a well-upholstered sales madam to her to put me down or leave the store:rotfl: A relationship can't ask for a better start than that!:DLife's a beach! Hi everyone!
Hugs to all those who need them.
No too much oldstyling going on today as OH didn't get back from the NEC until 9pm last night and I was whacked. Let's just say that the small person grew horns on Sat and if there'd been an award for little herbert of the day he'd have won it hands down!!! Amongst other delights he thought he'd try to fit his small hoopla hoop over my £23 curly daylight bulb...well his experiment failed dismally as he had shattered glass over him. I think the gremlins were out over the weekend in my house because all sorts stopped working. It's not often I say this but phew thank goodness it's Monday.
All I have done today is put the bin out [other than the usual daily mucking out tasks] I did all my ironing and other jobs yesterday so I have earnt myself a sit down tonight and a well deserved cross stitch session. We're having roasted veg with pasta for tea tonight
Hope you're enjoying the sunshine

Try Two!
Hello everyone, isn't it great how a bit of sunshine makes you feel good (until the site eats your mail!)
Thinking of you Mrs_Mix and Snowy while my people know even if they do something wrong they may get a private "earholing" from me, in public they are totally supported.
I posted late last night saying my SC had died! It was the Hiniari 3.5L, and would like something a little bigger, but the 6.5L is too big. Found the Antony Worrall Thompson Slow Cooker 4.5L in Argos, £24.99 so not cheap but does have his cook book with it. Has anyone else got one and what do they think to it? Or any other suggestions (polite ones please). Haribo told me there was a 4.5L one in Asda, but cannot find it on the web site?
scuzz not an easy one, IMHO if going out with this guy is not impacting your social life, and he is treating you to nights out, not imposing on you, and you enjy his company, then go with it. I am of the strong opinions that you have to be good friends/mates with your OH anyway, and think relationships today move too fast anyway, but that is probably my age. Yes storecupboard hoarder here too!
(((hugs))) to anyone else not feeling on top of the world.
