Yeah im doing ok, am so used to not getting much sleep that i just carry on as normal:rolleyes: if i try to nap during day it makes me feel worse, so best to just see it through to bedtime:D

Well i did the unthinkable today and went shopping without a shopping list and went to iceland instead of Lidl!! My friend asked me to take her bad idea!! £25 later i have a freezer full of yummy things!! But nothing needed for my meal plan!!LOL.
Found it hard at footy training tonight as dd was playing snap behind me so i could see her, and the little girl she is ment to have hit last week kept pestering her, dd was great said she didnt want to play and ignored her.Still made me feel uncomfortable though.

Other major news is, i am thinking of making a mends with my mum, i havent spoke to her for about 5 years and dh hasnt spoken to her for 7 years, but myself and dh have had a chat and he seems to think it maybe a good idea to think about making a fresh start.
This is something im very unsure about, as i know my gran passing away has something to do with this.I would love to have a relationship like we used to but i dont think it is possible. We brought the subject up with the kids and my eldest is not over the moon about the idea, he can remember alot of things that were said and done and he is worried it will all start again.
My and dh are going to chat again later and my sister is testing the water with my mum, to see how she would feel about drawing a line in the sand and starting over.
As that is the only way i can see it happening, if we all promise not to bring up the past and try to become a family unit again. Im not sure at all?????

Sorry to go on, i just feel it maybe easier on Thurday at the funeral if i have been to see my mum before hand, but dont want to rush in and make a mistake.
Shes hurt me so much i need to be sure she cant do it again.

Kyle, think you cope really well without much sleep. i'd need matchsticks just to keep my eyes open if I didn't sleep well. 10 minute naps do me just fine and then I'm wide awake again - its just a shame I do it at work when I'm talking to the little ones!!!!LOL only kidding.

Dlb - sorry not sure totally about issues with your Mum. I have great issues with mine but I phone often (more than she does) and one of my worst memories was when she cut a selection box in half for my kids at Christmas because they get too much!!

You have probably been discussing this on the daily thread but you know I am well behind! PM me because we can probably change stories, experiences etc.

Cant remember if I mentioned earlier, but I think we (myself & aunty) have now decided on a chinese restaurant for mother's 60th birthday. Just need numbers to book/reserve the tables. But it will be on the understanding, that the guests pay for thier own food! Be damned if I'll pay out!

Right, gonna mooch around other threads. Need some advise for a friend who entered an arranged marriage 2yrs ago, to help someone gain their visa, she did this for money and now wants out! But I dont want to start a thread incase people are offended by this!

Evening All

Dont normally post twice in a day but its been rather a odd kind of day. First of all took DD to nursery. While I was there the leader asked if we were going on the trip which involves going on a coach. Wasnt sure about this as DD is only 2 and we take car seat safety very seriously.

Found out who the coach company were and decided to give them a ring when I got home to see what the score was with car seats etc as the leader just looked at me blankly when I asked.

Got home phoned the company who said that they only had lap belts on there coaches, phoned DH who agreed with me that this wasnt enough and we decided that we would drive and meet the party at the place.

Went back told the leader this and she made me feel about 1" tall and started ranting about how the trip would be cancelled if they couldnt fill the coach.

Am I a parinoid mummy? or just somebody who doesnt think its appropiate for a 2 year old to be unrestrained in a coach on the motorway.

Thanks for reading my rant I'm feeling abit better now I've written it all down.
