I'm not 7ft 2 really.... I'm 5ft 6.
Aiming for 11 stone by July 14th but my long term goal is 10stone!
Good luck Jokay x0 -
I'd love to join in too - both me and OH need to lose weight.
I'd rather not post my weight at the mo - if that's OK? I'm so overweight I'm carrying another person around - and not a child or midget either
I'd need lots of meal ideas though - been meaning to go OS for ages but never been able to get totally committed coz late night choccy and/or takeaway trips always blow the budget and the OS ideal
So it makes sense to try to get more OS at the same time as starting a diet coz it obviously mean no choccy/takeaways full stop
Can I join then coz what I'm trying to say is think I'll definitely need more help/advice at the start...You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs:rotfl:

Hi
If you didn't mind, I'd like to join in?! I've been doing WeightWatchers online for 2 weeks and have about a stone of baby weight to lose...(the baby's now 2 years old....:o). I know WW is not strictly money-saving, but I lost 2.5st with them before - and as I cook everything from scratch, I've got more control over my points.
I've lost 2lbs so far (2nd weigh-in tomorrow), but don't have much hope....I've been eating for England this week, so have probably put that back on! Thankfully, I'm not one for chocolate, so no-one's bought me an Easter egg (OK, so call me unusual!!).
I'm off on holiday the second week of June, so would like to be at my target weight by then...
My current weight is 11st 10lbs, and I'm aiming for 10st 9lbs.
Cheers, and good luck everyone!

That's fine Mics_chick, welcome aboard! For meal ideas I ploughed through the OS index (I'm a student, so cheap was the watch-word!) - it's a goldmine! I went from buying ready meals to cooking everything - and even baking (Mum almost fell over with shock when I told her about my new passion for cooking :rotfl:), so if I can do it then I reckon anyone can
Also, I'm a chocoholic too, so you can confess all your sins - I've most probably been there
We're all here to help each other anyway, and there is definitely no such thing as a daft question (trust me, I'm a very stereotypical blonde) - so welcome everyone, thank you for joining me in my mission to finally get my bum in gear (literally and figuratively) - and GOOD LUCK!!2007 Bronze Olympic Challenge: Total £1057.34 :jDFW Nerd 269: Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -

I would love to join in too. I have been trying to lose weight for ages but I seem to have very little motivation if left to do it alone.
I currently weigh 11st.

My first target is going to be 16lbs - it may seem an odd number but it's meaningful to me and I think by then I'll be brave enough to post my weightYou should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

Still trying to lose my post baby weight but as it's his wedding in July I don't think I've been trying hard enough!! :rotfl:
Seriously, I lost 3 1/2 stone 5 years ago & it's gradually all crept back on plus yet another stone which thankfully I've managed to lose again in the last 5 months.
So, back to square one: 14st 10lbs
Please keep me going as I've been on a permanent diet for the last 25 years & need inspiration.
Started OS about a month ago & this has helped me be more imaginative with our meals.:j New Year, New You = 1.5lb/12lb:j0
