    :hello:

    Can I join please?

I lost 3.5 stone on Slimming World year before last (in three months) - and have put it ALL back on plus 1.5 stone  :(

Would really love to lose 1.5/2 stone by holiday on 18 July to France (5 stone to lose in total).

Me and darling boyf cycle 15 miles every weekend, but other than that I don't do much!

Munched on museli, banana and apple so far, also have Mullerlight yoghurt lined up with more fruit (strawberries and grapes).

My weakness is on my way home from work - I'm so hungry I alwasy stop off at the local shop to buy junk even though I always have a healthy meal as soon as I get in - then I'm not hungry anymore but eat the junk anyway!

    Please help me!!!

Hi guys I'd really like to join in on this one please. My weight and my debt seem inexorably linked, I notice that when I'm spending more, I'm eating more so I'm going to tackle the two together.

I'm off the Isle of Wight Festival in June and if my clothes are smaller there will be more room in my ruscksack for camping essentials. Plus I will feel happier when I'm bopping to the bands with the teenies.

I'm getting rid of my car completely and I'm cycling to work again, I run twice a week and swim once, and now and again play netball. My problem is that I eat too much, so despite all the exercise I don't lose weight. When I am watching the pennies I don't eat as much so the over-spending and over-eating should be reduced together.

I am 5' 2" and I weight 10 Stone 2lbs. I'm due for a weigh-in today so I'm going to go on the posh scales at Boots that do the Body-fat % too.

    Good luck everyone. :T

  • Hi guys

I'll be watching this thread with interest. I lost about 2 stone last year, prob put about 0.5 back on over winter and so it needs to go again!

For those who struggle with motivation - the feeling of buying a size 10 pair of jeans (or12,14 etch whatever your target is) is AMAZING :j and is a far bigger high than any bar of chocolate can give you. Stick with it - it really is worth it! Although be careful, slimming can be additive! Last years target for me was a 10 and i made it. I'm now aiming to get to size 8 for summer (equates to about 1 stone i think).

I might get into trouble for this, but if anyone wants to follow the slimming world plan without paying for the privaledge, just PM me ;) . I joined the bodyoptimise online version of slimming world (pre-DFW obviously!) and still have all of the freefood/healthyextras/syns literature stored on my computer :money: I'm sure emailing it all to people would be against the rules but in the interests of moneysaving generosity..... ;)

Weighed myself this morning and it gave me a 3LB loss, although the scales did have to be reset as I stuck me 50p in and nowt happened. So now I`m thinking maybe the scales are lying and I haven`t really lost that 3LB?

I was amazed when it said 3lb as I`ve been really lazy this week and done no exercise at all and my eating has been mad this week.I haven`t really been eating healthy,I ate the crispy skin off my chicken leg followed by 4 digestives.I also had oven chips twice this week.

So I`m thinking next weeks weigh in might be a maintain,I`ll just have to wait and see.

  • Hey everyone!

Day one of my new healthy regime. Im starting by giving up alcohol. Saves money, calories & my liver!

On Thursday Im going to start Weight Watchers. they are doing free registration just now, just print off the coupon from the website. Then it is 4.95 a week, but I figure I should save that from the food bill easily. I need the motivation of a class!

    Sharon

    Healthy Monday!
Proud to be dealing with my debts :j

I've just had my weigh-in, on the all-singing, all-dancing machine at Boots, I use a weight-monitoring smart card which stores my last 10 weigh-ins and saves me money.

    So today I am
    • Height: 5' 1.8" (1.57m) (clearly this won't change) - Goal: 5' 6" (we can always hope) :rotfl:
    • Weight: 10st 1lb (64.1kg) - Goal: 8 Stone 7lbs (54kg) Realistic Goal: 9 stone (57kg)
    • Body Fat: 29.4% - Goal: 22.2%
    • BMI: 26 - Goal: 21.8
I don't really have a timescale but I'm off to Australia in September for my 35th birthday so I'd like to reach my target by then.

lol the wine/sparkly delivery came for the impending wedding so had to showcase it... can't give the guests dodgy stuff

I've heard some excuses for quaffing the vino, (having made up many myself in the past :rotfl: :rotfl: and a darn sight more original too!! ), but in view of the fact that your nuptials are impending and that no doubt the soon-to-be Mrs ajax will be looking her best just for you, then I feel it is my duty to give you this smackbumgz8.gifto get you back on track.

hazzie :T 3lbs :T What a girl, I bet you lose next week too, you sound as if you must be doing something right. Just think what you could do if you ignored the biccies.

Good luck to every one else, hope you all had a good weekend. It was quite cool here, with none of the sun that a lot of you had.
