    Can I join?

I've already lost 4 stone 2.5 Lbs with Slimming World and still have about another 1 and a half - 2 Stone to go!

In true Money saving style I spent 2 hours yesterday afternoon taking in some of my t-shirts to make them last longer!

I know slimming classes are not Moneysaving but I have just bought 12 classes for the price of 10 and I am aim to try and up my weight lose so that I can hit target around the same time as it runs out so I don't have to pay for any more!!

    Good luck everyone

Lucy well done on losing 4 stone, you must be feeling fabulous.

Feeling really positive today, wait until the hunger pangs set in though as i'm used to picking at chocolate or rubbish all day. Work has just called and I have to go in, so i'm going to have a quick bowl of porridge and scoot. Will have to walk dogs with hubby this evening.

Hope everyone has a good day

A good solution for hunger is pineapple and strawberries, they are a super food to speed up your metabolism and can help you lose weight (they also taste great!)

Or any fruit because they contain so much water they don't have many calories.

    Have a good day

suggs the best of everything for today, stand proud, you are very special and no one cuts it like you do, top or no top xx

lol the wine/sparkly delivery came for the impending wedding so had to showcase it... can't give the guests dodgy stuff :)

Suggs, knock 'em dead mate.. just read your thread and it must have been SO annoying. My money says that you'll be the success story of the show.

I lost eight stone a few years back with low carb but have put about 3 stone back on which I need to get shut of again. So count me in.

I'm thinking of joining Slimming World when I get made redundant in the summer and pay off my debts, in the mean time I'm just trying the eat sensibly route and see where it takes me :D

Now if I can stop the comfort eating and drinking due to all the !!!!!! going at work I'll be fine. ;)

I'm in... and for a very odd reason... I'm happy myself being the shape I am, but keep seeing so many nice clothes in the charity shops that are a size 10 :rotfl:

Really, I've never seen so many of this seasons clothes, and top brand names too.

So that's it, I'm going to be a size 10.

Well, that's one reason, the other is that I'm getting a little older and am thinking I should be a bit fitter than I am. So rather than focus on diet, which isn't too bad, I'm going to focus on exercise. Going for a swim in about 10 mins.

I know exactly what you mean. I've always been really slim, but Im short and have a tiny frame (can't use the big bones line) I was always a size 8 and used to find tons in the next sale, charity shops etc. Now I'm pushing a 12 and I'm finding getting cheap clothes really hard. Not to mention the double chin I'm developing fast. I know loads of people would love to be a 12 but on my frame it's chubby...oh to be taller.

I've already decided that when I get through my easter eggs I'm done with chocolate apart from a crunchie now and then :D Still haven't actually started any of the chocolate so it may take me a while :rotfl: Might just give them away actually, apart from the lovely one! Went shopping yesterday and didn't buy any crisps, so I've saved money too, wooh!

Also, I can see a big park from my bedroom window, so there's really no excuse. Especially since a) it's getting warm and b) there seem to be constant football matches going on there   Anyone want to join me on a walk? ;) :rotfl:

Well here we go. New start. I've decided to go down the calorie route so I'm allowing 200 for breakfast, 300 for lunch and 500 for dinner. That leaves me 500 for snacks and treats. It's day one so I may have to make adjustments as I go along.

Off to the gym at lunchtime aiming for 340 calories on the machine. I just use the calorie counter as a guide to how hard I work, nothing more.

    Hi Peachpickle!

Football sounds good but if you really want something good, my OH plays rugby.....   plus you get exercise running away from the ball when it goes over the side line!!

I have a cycle path running right outside the house.... I really should use it more :o
