I put a load of kids garden toys on that were cluttering up my garden. I had loads of replies but I chose a lady who wanted them for a playgroup. she was very grateful and that made me feel good.
My mum was very uncharitable about it tho. She was telling me i should put the stuff in local paper to sell. I just wanted rid so I could get garden sorted. Not that i think anyone would have paid for them anyway.Nothing to declare

I LOVE freecycle.
The silly wanteds are funny!!! Especially when I come back to work after the weekend to 1,000 plus messages to nose through and I come across a WANTED caravan or car or sat nav etc. They crack me up!
I have got rid of loads of stuff and received some great stuff too!! Plus its a innovative way to make new friends in your local area.
Anyone had anything particually great???
I had a plastic greenhouse which is fantastic!! Only problem was it took me 3 hours to put it up as I didn't have instructions!!Our dream has come true...0 -
I've had a rocking chair which was a fantastic find, a large victorian style mirror, and other bits and bobs but they are my best things so far, love em to bits.0

If you don't succeed with freecycle another option is, as I found out when I couldn't get rid of an old great TV, (had no scart socket) took it to the "Tip" the guys there said they would find a home for it!
Big thanks to all dustmen![STRIKE]30:22[/STRIKE]

Big thanks to all dustmen!
Mine are great too. Our local guys are great - they even come and get the bags and boxes etc out of the boot of the car, if they're not too busy, and willl always help lift heavy stuff. True gems!

This ad. today tickled me.....Must be my odd sense of humour
Hiya
Does anyone have any old drawers they're getting rid of? My daughters
have just collapsed!
Doesn't matter what colour they are just as long as they're big enough
to fit the rubbish a teenager stores in them.

Someone is requesting a laptop on my local one too, you have to laugh!
I just used Freecycle for the first time to get rid of my old kitchen units, has saved me numerous trips to the tip and it's nice to know it's saving the landfill0
