Someone is requesting a laptop on my local one too, you have to laugh!

I just used Freecycle for the first time to get rid of my old kitchen units, has saved me numerous trips to the tip and it's nice to know it's saving the landfill :)

I got rid of an old double bed base recently - it was in great condition, I'd just replaced it for a new one, so that I could have storage space underneath. I'd put an ad in the local paper, Loot etc, and no-one wanted it. The local council would've charged me around £15 to take it away. The young couple who came round to collect it were delighted with it. To me, that's what Freecycle is all about :)

Take no notice of him - he's just someone trying to disrupt the thread, by writing something contentious. Check out some of his other posts and you'll soon see what I mean.

As I said, just someone passing through, hoping to disrupt the thread. I've now changed my settings so I don't have to read his posts any more :rotfl:

Just noticed someone advertising for a laptop on my local group - must be internet ready, preferably with Windows Vista installed (but XP would be ok )
