    Priceless isnt it?

Thing is, I was raised to be polite. If someone gives me something I cant thank them enough. Yet some of these socially inept idiots appear on my doorstep just uttering the name of the thing they have come to collect and then turn and leave. Not a thank you or a kiss my !!!!.

Maybe its just me, but If I take something I always post a "recieved with thanks" message. I can count on one hand how many people have done that for me.

I have met a few very lovely people on freecycle, but they appear to be in the minority!

we have been asked not to post thanks messages as they clog up the board :confused: (as opposed to wanteds for laptops, pda's, computers, etc??)
but i always always send an email direct thanking them for anything i have got. sometimes i wonder if i go over the top, but usually i'm so grateful i get very thankful indeed, lol.

If you're really sick of cheeky freecyclers/ebayers/car-booters etc don't forget your local charity shops. They can make money by re-cycling too!

offered all my items to lucky people picked this morning, and after stating clearly must collect evenings on original offereds, three have emailed back to say they want to collect during the day. so said no, i stated must be evenings. two have said, don't want it then. third yet to reply. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. why do i bother.

I really cannot believe the cheek of some ppl. I've only just joined a few of my local freecycles. Some things come up that I think mmmm looks quite interesting  . Then, common sense prevails and I really don't need it and the OH would prob get huffy if I did get it. Others prob need it more than me!

If I was lucky enough to be picked to collect something, I certainly wouldn't p*** them around! Really makes you wonder what the world is coming to - some ppl can be so selfish.

Anyways, that my huffy moment over and done with!!! I'm enjoying this thread for the daft 'Wanteds' that freecr's have posted :D:D :rotfl: Keep 'em coming. I'm trying to look for funnies on my local ones, but nothing compares to the 'shovel & dog' and 'multigym'!! :rotfl:

    R :D
