I am a bit worried about the person that asked for the pants man or woman? Have they asked for anything else? The mind does boggle and some things it comes up with, are too disturbing to think about :eek:

It’s a woman I assume who's asked for the pants looking at id, only other wanted was for a typewriter, lol

Last year someone offered a box of comic books, now, Im a graphics degree student with an existing smallish collection of comics so I jumped at the chance.

The guy was lovely. I explained to him that I was a collector and they would be treasured and he was more than happy for me to have them. He emailed me a few days later to arrange a collection and he told me that he had recieved literally dozens of emails from freecyclers telling him not to give them away, offering money and generally calling him stupid.

To his credit the guy told them all he was happy they were going to someone who appreciated them. Later that day I picked up over 300 comics, all pristine and in sleeves. I treasure them, they are wonderful! Ive added to them and the collection is now huge. My teenage son reads them, I draw inspiration from them for my degree work.

To think that people are so petty as to email the giver disgusts me.

as one of my items is untaken, i repicked, but havinghad a nosey at that posters posts, they have posted 22 recieved and 18 wanteds but no offereds. am i wrong for thinking twice about offering it them?

I'm thinking of changing my name to polly. How many times has this thread made me say "cheeky begger" this week alone!

We have a local family in need of a hoover. I know the pollen count can get high but.........:D
