One of my friends is about to start potty training her little boy, I got her some of the pull-ups from the glitch but she told me the other day that she's not going to use them.

Having spoken to other mums she's discovered it's better for them to just wear pants as they can 'feel' when they need the loo, where they can't with these pull-ups.

She's decided to just invest in lots of cheapie clothes to keep him dry while he potty trains, hth xx

Something I found useful, when out and about, was to put real pants on under pullups. You've got the advantage that the child can feel if they are wet, but with the added advantage that there's no need of a change of clothes if the child is caught short. (Useful on bus journeys or long car journeys when you can't stop at the drop of a hat).

    It's only a game

When I was on holiday in Thailand I was absolutely eaten alive by mozzies and the locals told me to use Tiger Balm. Smells a bit like Vick and comes in a little pot.
It really did the trick, stopped the itching and also acted as a repellent.
You can buy it here for around £4 a pot, and if you're lucky it's sometimes in Poundland :)

I swear by the blue tiger balm (not the red one its )

I'm allergic to mozzies and when I lived in Australia I used to come out with big fluid filled boils :(. Nothing worked to prevent them and the Doctors just advised me to keep getting bites so I could build up an immunity.
The only treatment I could do was to thread a needle and pass it through the boil, take the needle off the thread and tie the thread in a loose knot to let the fluid seep out
The ones on my face were the worst :(
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

What a good idea, will store that in the brain cabinet, my ds turned 2 so gotta got through it all again soon. I used to put those mats in the car seat but always got screwed and never really worked.

I believe its because mossies does not have an online price site, and isnt on MSM, so the prices are 'discovered and confirmed' by other supermarkets via mystery shoppers and adverts in the press etc, so Mossies prices always take a while to filter through to compare.

Did you get the right one? The fruit and barley is 79p in mossies, its the robinsons squash thats 50p? (just a thought as they are very similar in the same bottle shape;))

Could you return them to asda and explain you got the wrong type of squash maybe?;);)...and then try again in a few days or if you see its confirmed at compairing?

Don't know if it was just me but with all the talk of mosquito bites I had to re read this, was getting confused.com :rotfl::rotfl:

Thats great. Not sure I would have the nerve to take things back without a genuine reason. Wish I could though as I've been caught out so many times with silly self inflicted mistakes. Maybe one day I will find that nerve :D

Well I went back to S/world this afternoon and went straight back into helping out, by doing the pay-in desk ;) I paid for a 12 week countdown so paid for 10 weeks upfront and get 2 extra weeks free. I thought that I would be right back up to my previous top weight, what I started at last time. Close. I was 11 1/2 pounds down on it ;):o I decided to have a completely new start so will forget about that 11 1/2 pounds loss and start from present weight. It's a long long way to go, but one step at a time

My biggest problem this time, which I have never had before, is that I am not eating much. I sit at night on my laptop and watching the Olympics and realise at about 10.30pm that I haven't had any dinner. In fact I just had my ready meal curry/rice about half an hour ago, and I hadn't eaten since going to the cafe before class and having a bacon, egg and cheese sarnie, for my breakfast as I'd only had a banana earlier to take my tablets :o So I am going to have to plan very carefully and make sure that I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner :( I've got the things in, I just have to make sure that I eat them :o
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(
