Evening all - hope everyone is well, just going to have a skim bk, I'm not in the best mood at the moment - am covered in mosquito bites(about 15) but each one has swollen and got a diameter of about 8 inches, I am in agony and inching like crazy!!
    Anyone got any tips?

When I was on holiday in Thailand I was absolutely eaten alive by mozzies and the locals told me to use Tiger Balm. Smells a bit like Vick and comes in a little pot.
It really did the trick, stopped the itching and also acted as a repellent.
You can buy it here for around £4 a pot, and if you're lucky it's sometimes in Poundland :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I believe its because mossies does not have an online price site, and isnt on MSM, so the prices are 'discovered and confirmed' by other supermarkets via mystery shoppers and adverts in the press etc, so Mossies prices always take a while to filter through to compare.

Did you get the right one? The fruit and barley is 79p in mossies, its the robinsons squash thats 50p? (just a thought as they are very similar in the same bottle shape;))

Could you return them to asda and explain you got the wrong type of squash maybe?;);)...and then try again in a few days or if you see its confirmed at compairing?

Yes it was the right one, I'm sure you are right about the online thing it makes sense..
I'm still trying to learn this APG thing...:)

i'll take it back along with the Evening PG tips which isn't comparing either GRRRRRRR...:(

    Thank you
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...

When I travelled around Thailand I was told to live on curry, apparently they can't stand curry blood..:)

Good tip about the tiger balm it's strong stuff...

It sounds to me as if you have a serious allergy to these bites - my OH is the same and was recently told by his doctor that if he ever gets more than 6 bites at a time he MUST go to A&E as it can be quite serious, i don't want to frighten you but i think you should get checked out ASAP xxx

Had a very poorly cat yesterday :( rushed her to the vets and it was touch and go for a while but she seems a bit better today thankfully. Was a bit taken aback at how emotional i got yesterday at the thought of having to have her put to sleep if she got any worse. Its not until you think you may lose a pet you realise how emotionally attached you are.

Well our pets are family too so it's only natural to get upset like that. Hope poorly cat is feeling better now
any glitches on toes? i am having toe number 2 amputated on the 15th aug :(

Oh no, MMW, you'll be running out of toes soon at this rate :( Hope this op goes well hun :A

I was in a serious rush and had paid for my shop when I spotted them so didn't get time to go back and get some......TBH I have a big Wash powder stash so didn't need them.

I hope still some left. There was a whole pallet.

I'm going to be competing with you for the bargains in less than a fortnight! ;)

    Evening all.

Just done some skimming/catching up ;)

I could really do with the Elite taking me to their bosom this evening and giving me big huggles, I'm feeling rather traumatised! Got home today, and there are now 9 people living in my little 2 bedroom flat until Thursday or Friday  OH's daughter, son in law and 2 grandkids are here, plus his 2 boys are still with us, then there's the 3 of us  and there is nowhere to hide! Would it be rude to sit in a corner with my duvet over my head?!:rotfl:

Anyhoo, managed to squeeze a wee cereal shop in on my way home today ;) Was needing fuel, so nipped in to get some fuel coupons, got £18 worth and a few other bits, came to £22.99, used the Krave coupon and a JTD so it came to £10.99 after that and I should hopefully get £6-7 JTD back. They didn't have all the cereal I was planning on buying, so that threw me a bit. The Kellogs multi pack things were half price, which I wasn't expecting, just hoping I managed to recover it and my price porkie comes back ok.

    :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: x

I haven't seen a krave coupon could you point me in the right direction please :)
