Just want to say a big thank you RE: the bed wetting and the advice. I must admit it has made me a little upset though because I have done what all suggest. We got her a special bed, character knickers the lot and she was fine. She went 6 months without an accident and then bam, she forgot. She started wetting the bed at night, then sitting in a corner and peeing herself.

She holds it in and then forgets to go. She pees in the car, on the bed, on the sofa, at school, on the carpet, anywhere. And she really stinks with it too. We have had her to the doctors who says the accidents started because of a urine infection. But she's been clear of it for months.

It doesn't help that when she goes down to the sperm donor for visits he slaps her in pull ups 24-7. She has come back this time, bum covered in spots and constantly wanting to wear, and pee and poo, in pull ups.

With 4 other kids the washing machine is on all the time. OH would have to do 5 loads a day to keep up without pull ups.

Even still, with reading all this, what do we do? We keep her in knickers here and she pees 5 times a day. And it stinks. 3volutions all over the house.

    Any advice?!

Really sorry to hear that :( No real advise from me as I have no clue at the moment, but sounds like she needs more attention to help her get back. I can imagine it's practically impossible to be with her 24/7 especially with other 4 kids to look after.

I'd say don't wait for her to tell you she needs toilet, just sit her on potty every hour. And give her lots of praise when she does go. It's really hard not to tell them off when accidents happen, but try not to concentrate yours and hers attention on them. You probably need to stay home for a week, but in the long run it should pay off.

You're doing a great job already!!!

Big hugs I have 4 kids and my mum used to do the same when one of my DD's went to her house, she'd come back peeing herself. I only found out when my brother told me.
Also had probs because she only emptied her bladder 1/3 at a time, we went to hospital for investigations.
Maybe she's just not ready yet, all kids develop at different times.
She will get there, promise you :):)

Have a full day home.. do as you say.. keep her in nics but buy a see through water bottle and try to get her to drink as much water as possible.. ie. drink to this line and you will get a sticker, silver star, coloured star.

The aim is to get her bladder as full as possible so that she feels the urge to pee...

Also wee will be less concentrated and won t smell strong.
reward with a gold star if wees on toilet/potty

Also get her to give her favourite dolly/ teddy pretend drinks and get her to reward teddy when they sit on the potty

    Good luck;)

lookinforabargain - here's a ((((hug)))) from me, and there's a lot more to hug on me than most :D

Well I'm watching Spartacus, it's one of the films on the "films to watch before I die" list, but it's an hour in and I've ONLY JUST recognised Laurence Olivier which I feel a bit ashamed about. He was the star of my mum's favourite film so I feel like I'm somehow besmirching her memory by not recognising him :o

    Oh well!

    50p b/c 4502 xx

I got some of those yesterday in A's and they compared to T's.
What do they taste like? not tried it yet but I quite like Earl Grey might go back for some more as there were plenty there. Got several of the evening ones and I think they are really nice. Also got some of the £1 bio tablets....not quite as many as FK but only because my trolley wasn't big enough to get them all in.:rotfl:
They were on the top shelf with no SEL and I left several thinking I might go back, but the SA noticed how cheap they were so I expect she's had them.....She was really nice though, so I don't mind :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
