I think they say not to use plastic sheets these days, you can buy those pampers bed mats that absorb any accidents x

  • Sounds dodgy to me anyone could pick up a blank card, the don't activate till you've paid for them at the till.
I'd say this is a con. I've been using EZMP3 on my iPad wirelessly syncs songs from your laptop with no iTunes it really is amazing!

It seems really strange. I mean how would I walk into a shop to activate it without a receipt. I thought I would get opinions as the more I think about it the more dodgy it seems

    Thank you x

You need to put it under the sheet. try putting it across the middle of the bed over the sheet and use a cot sheet to cover it.

    Evening all.

Just done some skimming/catching up ;)

I could really do with the Elite taking me to their bosom this evening and giving me big huggles, I'm feeling rather traumatised! Got home today, and there are now 9 people living in my little 2 bedroom flat until Thursday or Friday  OH's daughter, son in law and 2 grandkids are here, plus his 2 boys are still with us, then there's the 3 of us  and there is nowhere to hide! Would it be rude to sit in a corner with my duvet over my head?! :rotfl:

Anyhoo, managed to squeeze a wee cereal shop in on my way home today ;) Was needing fuel, so nipped in to get some fuel coupons, got £18 worth and a few other bits, came to £22.99, used the Krave coupon and a JTD so it came to £10.99 after that and I should hopefully get £6-7 JTD back. They didn't have all the cereal I was planning on buying, so that threw me a bit. The Kellogs multi pack things were half price, which I wasn't expecting, just hoping I managed to recover it and my price porkie comes back ok.

I use a Kylie protector with tabs. It has a waterproof underneath soft in top. I put it over the sheets and the tabs normaly hold in place and if there are any accidents you just have to wash that. Also good as when go to grandparents or go on holiday can take. I brought the largest size possible will try and find link in the morning x

Went to MrTs and got some double cream reduced to 9p a pot, OH has just made some butter (in a 'hunter gatherer' type way) and is very proud of himself! (Didnt get any condensed milk for the ice cream as its gone from 50p to £1.44!!)

For those who have made butter before, what do you do with the watery stuff thats left over (is that what you call butter milk?:o)

Would be a shame to chuck it out if we can make use of it!

Then popped to sainsbobs and was very disappointed with the bakery reductions, loads left at 9pm, but had only been reduced once (pack of 4 bagels down from £1 to 69p kind of reductions, not the triple end of the night 9ps!!)

There were several customers 'hovering' around waiting for extra reductions when two people from the bakery started to throw all the bread in big yellow bags one said to the other 'this all needs reducing to 9p before it goes, so it minimises our wastage'

A couple of us went up, but they wouldnt reduce anything further in the shop, what a shame, waste of food and a wasted opportunity to get some bargains :(. Im hoping its not going to be a usual thing, Ive often got some really reduced bakery from there in the past!
