The motability car goes back tomorrow :(:( I have loved having a nice new car to drive around. Auction people are picking it up in the afternoon, so I have cleared out the glove box and door pockets and just have to take the throw and some shopping bags out of the boot in the morning. I will have to use the van again until I sort out a car, but small problem there ....

the van has a totally flat battery and two very flat tyres

I have put off getting it going again but my neighbour John asked about it tonight and suggested we tried to do it this evening. So we got the two tyres pumped up and will see if they last until the morning, and I now have the battery charger hooked up to the battery on the car, with a long lead into the house, and we will check it in the morning and see if it starts then. I would have left the van as it was until I HAD to do it, so I am very grateful to John for making me sort it tonight :T

I have a buyer for the van, a couple who run a stall at the car boot/market, so as soon as I have another car sorted, they will have it, so that's not a problem. And I have tyres for it in the back garden so, if the tyres stay up tomorrow, I can take it to my tyre garage and get them switched over. That will get rid of more clutter from the garden too. Actually, I think that there are 3 tyres out there, so will give them the other one as a spare ;)

Well I went back to S/world this afternoon and went straight back into helping out, by doing the pay-in desk ;) I paid for a 12 week countdown so paid for 10 weeks upfront and get 2 extra weeks free. I thought that I would be right back up to my previous top weight, what I started at last time. Close. I was 11 1/2 pounds down on it ;):o I decided to have a completely new start so will forget about that 11 1/2 pounds loss and start from present weight. It's a long long way to go, but one step at a time

My biggest problem this time, which I have never had before, is that I am not eating much. I sit at night on my laptop and watching the Olympics and realise at about 10.30pm that I haven't had any dinner. In fact I just had my ready meal curry/rice about half an hour ago, and I hadn't eaten since going to the cafe before class and having a bacon, egg and cheese sarnie, for my breakfast as I'd only had a banana earlier to take my tablets :o So I am going to have to plan very carefully and make sure that I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner :( I've got the things in, I just have to make sure that I eat them :o
I'm really sorry for your loss, sorry I've only just noticed your signature. My heart goes out to you, I really don't know how I would cope without my OH. :grouphug:

Regarding your 3 meals a day, I get what you mean. I so easily forget to eat, you get lost in what your doing you don't realise how much time has passed. I'm sure you can do it and reach your target weight. I have weight issues also, amongst lots of other issues. Ishiguro you all the luck in the world.

I'm still like that with meals, I make sure DS has his breakfast and lunch but forget to eat them myself.
I always seem to leave everything to the last minute so don't realise it's almost dinner time before I even feel hungry and then I either eat very little or a lot of the wrong types of food.

For exmaple today due to 2 summer scheme trips one after the other I didn't have dinner until 9ish which was just chips with bread and butter but then when DS went to bed I've eaten 2 more slices of bread with 2 packs of crisps then munched slowly through a pack of Blue Ribands  Yet yesterday I barely ate anything all day, I know it's not good so try to make an effort to eat regularly but something seems to happen in the morning to muck up the plans I've made for meals so end up winging it all day and forget at least one meal, sometimes all of them :o

I really need to get my see through snack lock box back so I can still buy the nice things and see them everyday but don't want them because I know they're there. With them in cupboards I come across them and fancy one but end up eating more because they taste so nice and haven't 'seen' them in ages.

Goodness another late night for me, time for bed

Re: potty training. One of my granddaughters got to two years of age and decided she wanted to wear knickers rather than nappies. She was toilet trained straightaway. Her brother, who is almost four years old, still has accidents. I really do think that boys are harder to toilet train than girls. But the last few weeks, he has started telling us that he needs to use the toilet. I wouldn't worry about it too much. x
