Is it just my husband and I that Barclays have decided not to send September's monthly Tax Beater ISA statements to, or have others not received theirs either?

I've never received any statements at all. I opened my ISA end April/beginning May. Did you have to request these statements?

We eventually got initial statements confirming opening balance, that was in June, then at the beginning of each month thereafter we received statements confirming that month's interest. I had made so many phone calls to them, the usual ones in connection with the shambles they were making of opening the accounts, that I really can't remember if at some time I asked them to issue monthly statements. Anyway, it looks like they've stopped issuing them now.

I was just checking to see if the same was happening to anyone else.

I think you need a special request for monthly statements. I have only ever received one after I called a month or so after the account had been opened to confirm the balance (so that I knew if the interest had been backdated).

I think they said paper statements would be 6 monthly.

Just happened to notice today that under the "Account details" on my monthly statement the wording's changed from just showing the monthly interest rate of 6.81% to 5.81% with the statement "subject to certain rules on this product, your account may be paid up to 1.00% in addition to the rate(s) above". I rang Barclays to ask why the change, and the only reason the person I spoke to could think of was that it makes it clearer to people that they can withdraw the 1.00% bonus when they wish. Hope they're not thinking of doing that, but it seems a bit odd that after all these months' they've decided to change the wording.

Probably be a good time to start thinking about moving it to a better rate in the next few months.
