We don't need to see it, we've seen loads and they are all the same.

Legally you owe them diddly squat.

    Don't pay it.

    Hi all,

Got reminder in from Highview Parking advising "Do Not Ignore" and full amount now due £75.00. If not paid within 14 days additional administration charge will be incurred (in nice red I may add).

    Tried to upload, no luck.

If it helps the important bit of the letter is the word "IGNORE" - just do that and you will be fine (no pun intended)

Livingston Retail PArk has just brought these guys in I believe. It is because some elements of the outlet centre have paid parkeing but it is only the other side of the road from the retail part.

Place is a real mess and was simpler when it was all free. Not difficult to overstay if you visit one of the food outlets and then go and watch a film.

Whilst the PPC are exactly what you'd expect, it is the terrible decision of the park owners that has allowed them in. Hopefully they'll realise what a mess they've made and get rid of the PPC pronto!

What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Excel are still at the Peel Centre in Stockport (in fact the signs are still the same and building work has started near their mud hut), so don't hold your breath waiting for an outbreak of common sense.
  • First post guys.

Me and my partner just got a letter from high view and after reading all of the posts on here, we've decided NOT to pay :)

    Cheers!

One more to the growing list of non payers.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • I got a "CHARGE NOTICE" from "HIGHVIEW" today.

Hell will freeze over before I give them a thin dime.

You have to laugh...."UP TO 70% OFF"......but we will recoup that through 'fines'.

I will NOT be shopping there in the future and emailing the stores that we purchased goods in as to why.

Good, I believe that complaining to the shops that allow this 'protection racket experience' to threaten their customers is the way forward.

Often we see in news articles that a retailer has introduced a PPC 'because we got some complaints that customers couldn't find a parking space'. Well then, let's give them some more complaints that show they've used a sledgehammer to crack a nut and are losing customers fast.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi,received updated letter advising Legal Action Pending . . . to avoid this being passed to our legal department . . . a further fee of £40.00 has been added. And finally, ""Your ability to obtain credit in the future may be affected if we have to take this matter to our solicitors for further action".

Have to say, was a bit worried about it a bit intimidating / threatening even.

Usual meaningless rubbish. Just keep ignoring.
