It's also a waste having more than £5K in a Lloyds Vantage anyway as they don't pay any interest above that anymore, since the 4%/£6K offer finished last week, so find another interest-paying home for the surplus £1K!0

or can i have 5k in each and transfer from that so one goes to 4k for a few minutes
Or even seconds, transfer from account 3 to account 2 from account 2 to account 1 and then from account 1 to account 3."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
Doesn't the £1k you have to pay into a TSB Enhance account have to come from an external source? I thought an internal transfer wouldn't count.0

Has anyone with more than one Nationwide Flexdirect account found they don't pay 5% on all the accounts?
I noticed they've changed the FAQ's where it asks can u have more than 1 account. You can open up to four Nationwide current accounts. However, under the terms and conditions of this account: customers are only entitled to one promotional credit interest rate of 5% AER. The only permitted exception to receive more than one promotional rate is if the additional account is held in joint names.
Any additional FlexDirect accounts held or more than one joint account held by you and another customer will result in the credit interest rate being reduced from 5% to 1% within 3 working days of the account being opened.
I've got 3 accounts, I've tried opening a 4th twice but they won't do it for some reason.0 -

Because all the other banks usually say that, can it be internal then with TSB/Lloyds?0 -

You really need to follow the T&Cs of each individual account. As far as I know, neither Lloyds nor TSB stipulate that the money has to come from an external account, but I am happy to be corrected if you find differently in their respective T&Cs.0
