changing the subject slightly to BOS vantage account. can you open 3 of these?
Yes, but you need to ring up to request them, and you can only open one per 24 hours. They will ask what you will be using it for. Some of the staff are not that happy when you say "Savings", but others are fine with that.0 -
Are we SURE internal transfers are fine, for BOS, Lloyds and TSB?
BOS vantage account. <<--- you can have 30 -
I remember I read somewhere that you can have more than one Vantage account. However, when I try to open a second account online, I receive a message saying that they cannot offer me another current account.0

You can open
3 x Lloyds (used to be 6)
3 x BOS and
3 x TSB
You can do internal transfers of the £1K, automated via standing order round the each 3.
You can feed the monthly interest, via standing order, to a 3% monthly saver account.0 -

It would be the same as opening on line, which you have already tried.
Also, a single credit search isn't going to affect your file much, although I admit I wouldn't want one between mortgage AIP and completion.0 -
