    You can open

    3 x Lloyds (used to be 6)
    3 x BOS and
    3 x TSB

You can do internal transfers of the £1K, automated via standing order round the each 3.

You can feed the monthly interest, via standing order, to a 3% monthly saver account.

I have just opened the nationwide flexdirect account so I can pay in the £1000 from each vantage accounts and get 5% interest for 1 year. I will have to return £500 as the interest is only up to £2500.

I have just upgraded to a Lloyds Vantage account which I have transferred £4k into and am also in the process of opening another one to take advantage of the 3% interest and you have answered all of my questions before I've asked them!!

Going to do my Round Robin tonight £2000 out and £1000 back.

As the Nationwide flexdirect reg saver interest has now dropped I will also be moving that.

Having been reading through the site trying to find the best place to move to and in the reg savers best feeder account thread it mentions both the Clydesdale and Yorkshire bank accounts paying 4%.

Not heard either of these mentioned before - anyone got them? If so anything to be aware of?
Typically confused and asking for advice

You will only be able to get one, and it will take something like 3 weeks from application to having a usable account.

I wouldn't hold my breath for anything better, apart obviously from the FlexDirects.
  • Interest paid tonight at the close of business. I presume it is around the 9 or 10 o'clock period tonight

    Ours was in this morning

2% is the best easily accessible savings... if you've maxed everything else out

Don't forget, as previously posted by someone on MSE the NWide Regular saver pays 2.5% on deposits between £500 - £1000 pm.

Oh dear, I cancelled all 12 of our Tesco Bank DD this morning as didn't need to take the £1 from our 6 Lloyds accounts on November 1st anymore.

I thought while I was on the Tesco bank website I also deleted the linked accounts, then after thought maybe I should have left the links until after Nov 1st...

I haven't deleted them in the Lloyds Direct Debits and they are still showing, so wonder if that will be okay until end of month...

I've deleted the Direct Debits from my Vantage accounts but not thinking I had to cancel them on the Tesco accounts as that is where the instruction is from :o

I've been onto my Tesco accounts and deleted them now but November's must already be in the system as it is showing December as the next payment due.

Will there be any problem with this? I'm not concerned if the debits go through just if something gets queried.
