Thanks all for your positive comments! It feels good but somehow still a bit intimidating. And I'm feeling a little impatient! But 100 days is nothing really. February has been a rough mentally so far. I'm not sure what is causing it but I think having been on lockdown since Christmas isn't helping. I've got a couple of days off work soon so I'm hoping a bit of self-care and rest will reinvigorate me!

Sorry to hear that @caeler but if it helps to hear I also hit a wall (so to speak) mid-Jan time. It passed after a fortnight or so so I'm hoping it passes quickly for you too. I remember feeling quite negative about things and if I look back at my thread I can see when I made an OP on my mortgage back in Jan I remember feeling really low at the time about it, rather than enthusiastic like I usually am. Lockdown is just really tough I think so take care of yourself.
100 days is amazing and I'm not surprised you're impatient. I would be too! Amazing achievement though.Mortgage free as of March '25!

Perhaps you should play 99 Red Balloons 🎈 today!
For some reason I'm waking at 5am this week, so glad I'm on holiday next week.
I think we all hit the wall at some point, it's more noticeable during the lockdown hokey pokey...
You're so close now!

97 days to go! (I'm counting down to mortgage neutral day now, I've been switching between neutral and redemption so I'm picking one!). And I'm not sure I've got it in me to come up with a creative theme for each countdown!
9 NSDs this month so far. I did the big grocery shop last night! I'm extremely well stocked up so I won't need to do another big grocery shop until April! It feels pretty good to have a very full fridge! I also treated myself to some red wine, I've picked up a few firm favorites and a few bottles I've not tried before. I'm looking forward to trying a new one with my roast dinner on Sunday. I brought a red cabbage too as I've nearly finished the batch of braised red cabbage I made at Christmas.
I'm feeling a bit better than I was earlier in the week. Thank you for all the kind messages. I had my light bulb moment that I wasn't myself when most of my team asked me if I was okay. I was a bit overwhelmed by that but it makes me so happy I work with such lovely people. I'm planning some self-care this weekend as I'm off work now until Tuesday. I'm not sure what triggered me feeling this way but my guess is sheer volume of work plus some issues I wasn't initially sure how to resolve and continued lockdown. I forget I've been locked down alone since just before Christmas! Got Zoom drinks tonight which will be fun and break the monotony. Zoom has been a life saver really.

96 days to go! So today I share “96 Tears by The Stranglers”. https://youtu.be/hrU0YuJ47uA This is your fault!! @grogged and @viking_mfw
I’m really obsessive. There I’ve said it. I’m obsessive about most things money saving so at least I’m in the right place. I’ve been “helping” members of my family sort out their bills. Starting with phone and broadband. My parents are receiving a basic 2mb slow connection and calls package for £48 a month so now they’ve upgraded to fibre with anytime calls for £31 a month. My sister is paying £47 for fibre and I’ve been nagging at her to call her current provider for a deal, I’m positive she can cut that spend nearly in half. I hate that they’ve been ripped off for so long but worse they hadn’t sorted it before now! Next I’ll be speaking to them about energy tariffs.
It makes me angry that customers are allowed to sit on outdated and expensive deals. It is simply poor customer service.

I keep trying to get my dad to call his energy supplier as they haven't changed in the time they have been there - almost 20 years. I will keep pestering and when allowed I will sit with him to sort it out. After the seeing the savings I am hoping he will keep going with the other billsMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
