Well done on paying off the allowance!!
Which mini greenhouse are you thinking of?
I got a plastic cover 3 tier one from Wilko last year it made such a difference to my early plants/veg. I've been eyeing up their wooden frame one, but decided to hold off this year, while I adjust to this new garden.
I meant to say, good luck with the runner beans. My dad always does very well with his, so I'm going to try again this year.MFW

Thanks for stopping by @Orangetoes Well done for resisting the takeaway last night, another £30 for mortgage OP! Strength and sacrifice is what it takes to be here!
Hi @eat_that_frog I'm glad I did it, instant reduction in daily interest today and now I can focus on drip feed my savings.
Thanks @bellevie I'm looking at the wooden one, I've always wanted one and wilko is the best price I've ever seen and its a similar size to the more expensive ones. I've been dabbling in planting from seeds over the last year and I've not got enough indoor window sill space! Runner beans are the only veg I'm doing but I'm planning sweet peas, sunflowers, zinnias, nasturtium (I totally love all of the different varieties), foxgloves (I sowed originally in 2019 so I'm on my last flowering year with the current ones so need to replace) and maybe marigolds.2 -
I love greenhouses gave mine up when I sold my house miss it. Looked at Wilko for the wooden ones have you seen the reviews for them. Even the expensive one has poor reviews. Looks nice though.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I love wilko but some of their bits are poor in my experience. I don't begrudge that a cheap item doesn't last as long as a more expensive item, but if it falls apart in a few days I get a bit annoyed! Have you looked at robert dyas? They are more expensive but on their sales you can get a fairly good deal.2

So here are the stats: 120 days to go! That is exactly 4 months and 4 more pay days to go. I now owe £43,596.90. I'm at 76.86% Mortgage Neutral. Interest is down to £2.50 a day (at the height it was as much as £18.47 a day, I thought it was less but I'd forgotten the high rates I started off with!).
January 2021 went really quickly and I sort of expect the next few months to fly by too which if we're still in lockdown I'm totally fine with! I managed 25 NSDs in January which is incredible - thanks for the encouragement from my 'twin' @TallGirl who achieved the same! Great achievement for us both! I'm not sure it is possible to keep the same focus for another month in a row but I'll give it a go, I'm going to aim for 20 NSDs in February.
4 months to go has felt a bit intimidating this morning. I'm not sure why. I've paid the 10% allowable OP which resets on redemption day so there is no more OPs to make. I've just got to stick to my budget for 4 more months. Sounds simple!
I still have the potential holiday looming (you'll remember it was postponed by 12 months from 2020 to 2021 because "everything would be fine in 12 months time"!), the cruise company I'm booked with was due to start operations on 6 March however they have already delayed until 26 April. Most of me is really hoping they extend that by another month which means I'll be allowed to rebook for a future date which is, if I'm honest what I really really want. I've got a small pot saved in case the trip goes ahead although the holiday itself is paid for so this is just spending money.

You can do it! I think that there is something intimidating about "just sticking to your budget" - there's no dopamine hit of achievement. Can you have a colour in chart or something to count down the days?2
