You were miles out

Seemed like in the heats Bolt was playing some sort of mind game but the semi (where he virtually plled up) showed that we was still a class apart and who knows, if someone had put more pressure on in the final there might have been a world record.vivatifosi wrote: »I think Bolt will win, it was like he was hiding something. My prediction is 1) Bolt, 2) Blake, 3) Gay, though Gatlin may edge the bronze. Everyone can tell me how wrong I was in about 45 minutes.I think....0 -
I had a look at sporting index's GB gold medal market this morning, the price was 26.3 - 27.8 so there seems to be quite a few more gold medals probably coming our way.
I didn't think that we had that many realistic opportunities for gold, obviously I have overlooked a few.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I had no idea we had some very good long jumpers - I must admit to being pretty surprised when Greg Rutherford won gold!0 -
Wow. I'm glad I didn't start this thread...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I am out of touch now with boxing but I did wonder about both this and the canoeing, I didn't know about the triathalong that's very good news (and also hopefully good viewing too).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I'd agree with you, especially in view the Bourge beat Kenny 2-0 in the worlds.
However, Kenny was dq in race 2 (going outside his lane) but beat Bourge to the line having sprinted the full 600m. Bourge was exhausted and it would be one way to try and beat him.
The other thing is thay almost every GB cyclist is performing at their absolute peak (unlike say our swimmers who had only a few PB's and many didn't even hit their seasons best).US housing: it's not a bubble - Moneyweek Dec 12, 20050 -

And we could well see a similar over doing of gloom on matters economic. Over in dicsussion time people same I'm a loon to suppose decent growth could return anytime soon but history is littered with examples of p1ss poor recieved wisdom. There is every chance that increased private sector job creation and higher trading volumes with the world outside Europe could well lead to 'surprise' growth.0 -

Tough but doable.
Good job I've been paying attention.
Kenny seemed to have the measure of him there. As was said by Kennyboy66, (this could get confusing), long sprints and Bourge looks vulnerable.0 -
kenny just got gold0
