long sprints and Bourge looks vulnerable.

    Easy peasy.
Bourge is now a busted flush. Everyone knows his weakness. Sure you've got to be strong but Kenny is.

Kenny destroyed Bourge- I was really surprised at how easy it was, expected it to be very close and go to three legs regardless of final outcome, but looked like a heat against an inferior rider (which is what bourge turned out to be when it came down to it). A class apart and I reckon he would have taken Hoy down as well - shame we didn't get to see that particular contest because of a failed attempt to change he rules to achieve a greater distribution of golds between counties.

    Laughable isn't it?
Didn't see the table tennis or badminton limited to one Chinese athlete.

Or the 100m limited to one Jamaican. Could you imagine? The Olympics is about people at their pinnacle, providing they achieve strict qualification. It's so cool when a country manages a clean sweep in the medals, why not allow 3 per country?

The best thing about it is how spectacularly it has backfired. We won 7/10 golds last time. I really hope we can go one better and win the 8/10 we are currently on for!

Really looking forward to watching it on the big screen in the olympic park tomorrow!!

And we could well see a similar over doing of gloom on matters economic. Over in dicsussion time people same I'm a loon to suppose decent growth could return anytime soon but history is littered with examples of p1ss poor recieved wisdom. There is every chance that increased private sector job creation and higher trading volumes with the world outside Europe could well lead to 'surprise' growth.

Lets hope so but theres probably a case for ongoing competition in job creation being unfair and biased in various ways. Maybe they could learn something from the olympics and how it encourages more involvement

I know! We're only one gold away from matching our highest ever amount. I think I might just shoot myself right now.
