Michael Johnson appeared to be saying that we shouldn't have this pre conceived notion......before he was rudely interrupted by Inverdale. I would have liked to hear his full argument.
......and in another peice of BBC "bashing", why do they show us Jake Humphries talking to Cav, whilst in the background you can see the big French bloke beating the big Aussie in the sprint, and then show the race afterwards as if it is live ?.
Do they think we are stupid 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

Is it time to start to talk about finishing third in the medal table?

Is this a good time finally to invest in gold?0

Michael Johnson makes our presenters and summarisers look like amateurs.
Johnathon Edwards said that no athlete can prepare for the noise of 80,000 people in a statement - only for Johnson to eloquently explain that you can.
I'm fed up of the BBC's focus on all things GB, but if you think thats bad NBC in the USA didn't even show the 100m live (and they have delayed most of the main events to show at peak time).US housing: it's not a bubble - Moneyweek Dec 12, 20050 -

Cav is officially the worst pundit since Chris Kamara.
Just stick it on the dedicated cycling channel and you can see everything live without having to listen to the nonsense, or see the montages.
Another great piece of work by the BBC was when they missed Ennis being introduced to the crowd before the start of the 800m because they we're showing some self indulgent montage of nonsense.0 -

There are something like 27 channels, if you don't just want to see the BBC's roundup then watch the other events on the red button. I got hackedoff when the BBC concentrated on the Horse riding when Princess Whoisit was on, so I went and watched women's weightlifting. Loved it, even though there wasn't a Brit in sight.0 -
