It could be worse, you could be Freya Murray, who got the call to say Paula Radcliffe wasn't running, and has had to leave a message on her computer saying "out of the office as I'm running in the London Marathon":T:eek::T. The best of luck to her!!!!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I had thanked the OP for his ironic post - but removed it as just posting it eats into the wall of joy that I have for the Olympics. Apart from the actual medal tally, which is wonderful, there are so many other super moments. Bert le Clos's interviews; the Jessop's sheltered accommodation 'Olympics', done with such amazing humour and self-deprecation; the audiences singing the National Anthem so gustily (albeit with timing issues), and this is only one week down.
Is it worth the money - absolutely!
And I hope that the Performance Directors and coaches receive the honours they deserve.
So, "That's all good then".0 -

Brilliant! I hadn't heard that! Just watching the tennis at the moment. It's days like this I wish I had one of those CCTV type control panels in front of me so I could take my pick of channels and flick between them when things go from interesting to off the scale we're about to get another medal:o.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Absolutely. Both the races today were great to watch.
Both close but the gold and silver were the other way round to what I (and I suspect most people) expected, what with Simpson and Percy's points lead.0 -
The poor old Queen is going to need help doing all the "Knightings" and "Dameings"'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
