Hello,
Does anyone know the rate of APR for Citi Cards for years 2001/2002?
Also years 2003/2004?
I have been advised to claim contractual interest instead of just 8%.
Is this advisable and how do I calculate this?
Please help!0 -
Hi, i've received a response to a request for 500 pounds credit card charges fromCitiCard who say they are not interested in refunding any charges. They site OFT credit card opinion that 12pounds is fair and that retrospective claims for higher amounts before this was introduced are not valid.
They state that they have successfully defended half a dozen such claims and therefore are not entertaining my claim. Is this true are they successfully defending claims in the courts?? if so, how??
Furthermore, while i'm happy to go to court, does anyone know what my chances of success might be as i reckon CitiCard will try and defend it to the hilt. Or is it just bravado on their behalf?? Anyone who has been successful against CitiCard any advice would be VERY welcome!! ThanksSorry but please keep your signature to 4 lines in length - MSE Forum Team 20 -
Citicard have NOT sucessfully defended half a dozen claims- there is one claim in Northern Ireland (Where the law is slightly different), where they used underhand tactics to claim their charges are actualy £12.88, and so were only asked to repay the difference. This case is currently under appeal.
Do not let them bully you, GO FOR IT.0 -

Hi
When they responded to me last week they said they had successfully defended 12 claims! don't seem to get their figures the same all the time do they?
Don't believe them!
My LBA has now been sent to them, I will take it to court stage if I have to.
Good luck with yours if you take it to next stage0 -
