Only place to get tickets is the official website:
http://www.tickets.london2012.com/browse
There are some dodgy touts outside the gates but if you get caught buying from them then both you and they will be fined.0 -
Just echoing what others have said, website is pants, you think you have the tickets, you wait......then there is nothing available.
What a let down, as others have said.
Closing ceremony tickets for £1500 I mean, really.
If you take the DLR from Stratford though, you can see the athletes training in their private area. Probably the closest many of us will get to seeing them.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
What a complete joke the website is - it is showing athletic tickets available for tomorrow but after waiting 15 mins in the queue it says none available. I then go back on the site and it is still showing available.0

you should still be able to get tickets for the Paralympics events. My Olympic stadium venue paralympics athletics tickets were £10 per adult, £5 per child.0 -

The orbit is the red helter skelter looking thing in the olympic park suppose to have superb views of london and park in general. But you will have to have a ticket to something else to be in the olympic park to get to go up the orbit (as they were saying on the radio)
HTHRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0 -
yes, you need an Olympic park venue ticket, or an Olympic park day pass, to be able to use an Orbit ticket.0

Big batch of tickets has just been released in the last few minutes.0

Yep. Here we go again.
I had some diving tickets I really wanted - I was so thrilled. Clicked "Next" and it said an internal error had occurred and I lost them. SO CROSS!!!!
Anyone else finding it flaking out (e.g. it gets to a few minutes left and then comes up with an error, not the "no tickets" error) more than before? I've had to restart so many queues now :-(0 -
I got some athletics tickets for tomorrow morning about 30 minutes ago- really can't believe it! I keep expecting an email to cancel them!
Now i'm stressing about what time to leave, how bad tubes will be, how long to allow to collect tickets and get in etc...0
