I think event tickets are your best bet for the Paralympics, because the Excel events appear to include a day pass (mine do), and you can go into the Olympic Park as early as you like, and stay til park closing time, if you have a ticket for an event in any of the venues there.

Anyone hoping to get last minute tickets from the European sellers should read this.

I may be mis-reading this, but Excel is a different venue - does it then also include a day pass to the Olympic Park at Stratford?

Loads of Excel tickets showing as available, £10.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

No. If you have an event at the Excel, it only entitles you to enter the Excel............not any other Olympic venue.;)

I swear I would kick this London 2012 tickets website up the bum if I could

Spent hours yesterday and today chasing non-existent Paralympic tickets.
  • What debsjc said. The official ticket website is a complete and utter joke. How can they yes there are tickets available, yet when you click on a session there are 0 available to select?!

Plus, if you go in using different web browsers (IE, FireFox or Chrome) - the search throws up completely different results.

Poorly designed!!! How are people getting tickets if it keeps coming up as "No tickets matched your request!"??????

I managed to get tickets for modern pentathlon on Sunday, does anyone know if i can collect them from the Wembley stadium/arena box office as they are nearer to me and I would get my travel card if I can collect tomorrow or saturday, but can't really find my answer on their website.

Yes, you can collect tickets from any box office - you'll need the email confirmation plus your card and photo id (passport or driving licence)

"Can I collect my tickets from any ticket box office or do I have to collect them from a specific one (for example, at the venue I am attending)?

For security reasons we will only be able to give tickets to the person who purchased them.

Prior to your event you can collect your tickets from the Stratford Gate box office opposite the Stratford Gate entrance to the Olympic Park.

You can choose to collect your tickets from a number of box offices. Please note that the box offices at Box Hill, Hampton Court, Hadleigh Farm and Weymouth and Portland can only be used to collect tickets for that venue (not other London 2012 venues), and only on the day of your session."

Check that Wembley box office will be open

You will get a travel card but probably not the handy guide to the venue or the event so you might want to print that out from the bottom right of this page
