I was using that site, yep! The tips are good too.
Believe it or not, I just got tickets to the Taekwondo. But I blew it.. I had to enter the CVS number and I forgot I had two cards that both expired in the same month so I entered the CVS of the wrong card. No second chances.
Evil, evil site :-(0 -
Yet another failed attempt, waiting for over 15 mins for £150 tickets and still usual no tickets message at end of it.. aaaargh.0

I have been trying all week to get 100m Final tickets for me and my partner. Finally managed to get 2x 100m Final tickets tonight priced £295 each for Cat B seating.
I have tried all prices for these tickets from £50 all week and been unlucky so went for the £295 tickets tonight and was shocked to see them available so snapped them up quick.
I now cant believe we have spent nearly £600 on these two tickets and cant help wondering if its going to be worth it ?!
I would however be hugely dissapointed if the seating is on the other side of the Stadium away from the 100m final.
Even though i managed to get these two tickets i still think the ticketing system is a complete shambles! What happened to it being 'Everyone's games' ....i feel its only for the lucky/rich to have tickets for the Olympics now! .....and dont get me started on the food / drink prices around the Olympics!

I just got Trampoline tickets for tomorrow, but my husband won't work from home to babysit (I thought I'd try to get them first, ask questions afterwards) so that's that! Ah well.
I also had Canoe Sprint tickets just now for a week Saturday, before I remembered they were Eton Dornay and not the white water place up in Lee which is much closer.
So, tickets are out there! Just not managed to apply and get any I could actually *use*, heh.0 -
I don't really want to see any events live other than athletics, these events have always to me been the pinnacle of the olympic experience, especially in the surroundings of the stadium where you can actually get to see the olympic flame too.0

exactly the same for me too echomiaow
Friji can you resell them if you decide £600 is too much? If you can afford it and don't need the money for other things then great, but if you do then perhaps its not worth it.0 -
Thats why I am such a nutter to keep on trying to get the bl^&dy tickets so late into the nights!! lol. Thanks for the website tip sophlowe, I'll keep an eye on it...says only 8 tickets left now, probably most expensive ones. Had 6 attempts in this session on countdown, all with expected results

Yes although I'd love to be there, £600, even for 100m final would be too much for me to justify paying out.
I've upped my limit to £150 but suspect that the extra tickets going on sale on the site now may well be the ones clawed back from corporates and so majority are probably well over £1500 -
Trying to get some tickets, anyone know the best places to look that may have reasonably priced tickets available. Looking for London event, not too fussy which, just like to be a part of it.Jan Grocery challenge
