Yes on sky (previous link), yes on AMC via re-translation on 10E - it is not an official channel but it can be picked up some days - try it.

Either way, this isn't the argument here, the argument is this is just one stream that happened to play when I visited the site. There are thousands of others.

Also you didn't know it appears on 10E as it isn't an official channel and it doesn't get great reception - but what if another satellite starts re-translating it tomorrow? - what if virgin pick it up in their channel packs. How do you guarantee the channel is not available in the UK?

It is not transmitted on Sky or Astra 28 officially or non-officially.
Amc18 has nothing to do with 10E and its not on that either.

Riiiight so as I said what seems like a month ago.

None of those other channels EVEN if they were live, need a TV licence.

Erm, no... The streams are live and Nasa can be picked up on 10E, try it yourself. Hence, it requires a TV license.

Quick google search it can be picked up on 13E too and others at one point or another as well as being available in place of other channels when they are not broadcasting - either way it is very likely that Nasa TV is available for UK broadcast at the same time you are viewing it live on Ustream.

Bare in mind this is just one example, there are thousands of streams.

    Wow, just wow.

Just keeping saying it doesnt make it happen, if NASA have hidden feeds on various sats that people hack into, they are not TV transmission feeds.

You just keep making random incorrect statements.

and I need to put effort into getting more olympic tickets, au revoir.

if you watch TV programmes in the UK, you must pay the appropriate License Fee. Irrespective of how it is broadcast, where it is broadcast from, how it is received and whatever medium is used to receive it.
A succinct summary of the situation, but the OP doesn't want to hear that- we have to debate it!!!
