Uggs are so chavvy and look silly, in ten years you'll look back and cringe!

Uggs, leggings, frilly top. What age are you? From your text-spelling I suspect under 18.

The fake ones worn with pyjamas are mandatory for certain types who venture into Tesco.

Weren't they originally created for surfers in Oz to chuck on when on the beach? Definitely not appropriate office wear. If you're not allowed to wear tracksuits then the standards required are higher than Uggs.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

They exsisted long before surfers bought them back to the UK from down under :) I think it was in the 1920's they were first made but for more of a comfort shoe/boot , like a slipper.

Uggs, leggings, and frilly dresses do not fit into the smart office attire catagory; they are casual clothing.

Trousers or a knee length/long skirt, plus a blouse or fitted non clingy top and leather court shoes are much more appropriate if not wearing a suit.

I can't believe anyone would think Uggs, leggings and a frilly top are smart :rotfl:

  • I wore my Uggs to work with leggings all winter! I wear them all the time and no foot rot here! The fakes look scruffy, mine are 2 years old and still look mint.

A young colleague wore some fake ugg type things one day and one of the older staff whispered to someone she worked with 'erm, xxxx has come to work in her bedroom slippers, is she okay?'. :rotfl:

Uggs don't look smart in any form.
