im in but only for 3 weeks as i go into hospital then and i wont be around for a couple of months because it will take me that long to get over my op. just done some swaps on facebook so have a couple of outs but then there is ins as well so will post the ins and outs when i receive them.

Lily - will you be able to read along whilst you recover? I do hope so as that is a really long recovery period If you can't then at least we can keep you company in the run up to your op (Obviously I will be keeping fingers and toes crossed that it goes well for you )

On a much more trivial note I am at a loss as to what has happened to my skin. It was looking very calm until yesterday when it suddenly turned bright red :eek: It's tight and sore again but I've no idea what it has reacted to or if it's just in a little world of its own...:( (I haven't been in the sun) I'm telling myself not to panic but there's a great temptation to cover it in every 'calming' product that I can find! :eek:

Kaz - I was v interested in the fact that you said your skin is doing better without creams etc Trying to make myself remember this and not go into product overload mode...

Willowbee, sorry your skin is not happy, I agree with you that "less" and very gentle is the way to go, give it a few days to try and reach equalibrium.

This probably sounds a bit weird,but whilst I would like to reduce the number of items in my stash, pretty much everything I have is now really good and there is probably not much that I would not put on my WBA list, so in some ways do not want to use it up. I am sure most of you KWIM

Excellent freebies! Also, they're so small that you'll use them in no time! I love the Elie Saab perfume though it might be a bit sweet for some people.

I think that I'm going to target sample sized things this month. I was going a bit mad with boredom and the rotten summer so I've just opened Korres minis from a 'Greek Holiday' set! :rotfl: I've just used Basil Lemon shower gel and body milk and a bit of Guava body butter. The Basil Lemon (or Lemon Basil! I can't remember:rotfl:) is a scent that I've wanted to try for ages but it's actually a bit disappointing. It's not as nice as Bliss Lemon & Sage and it smells a bit washing up liquidy. Mind you, it might be that I expected too much! I didn't like the Guava scent when I first used it but I like it now as it smells of coconut to me...*is confused* :rotfl:

Oooh! I've just opened a 25g Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream in Citron, Honey & Coriander. It's lovely *smiles*

I can't believe the prices you lot pay for stuff.... I bought a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, each for 50p in a sale in December 2008 - they lasted just over a year, then I started using up previous/old bottles ... and am now in a position where by the end of 2012 I might have got through all the old odds/sods and need to buy one of each at the start of 2013.

Toothpaste = £2/year.
Deodorant = £1/year

That's my lot!

Oh, I did have to buy some sun cream 2 weeks ago. £3.33 in Tesco - that'll do for this year and next year.

Thank you I put Clinique Redness Solutions protective base on so that it looked less red so I'm more likely to leave it alone! :rotfl: Hope I don't get too much of a shock when I remove it later...:eek:

I do KWYM about not wanting to use some things up. I still have some 'not great' things to work my way through but I'm looking forward to getting to the stage that you're at This month I'm aiming to be enthusiastic about what I already have :rotfl: (I try to do this each month tbh but I'm making an extra special effort for August so that I don't buy anything )
