So, I think there will be some INs this month as I'm out of some essentials - every day conditioner, dry shampoo and have just found out my favourite day wear perfume (Arran Aromatics - Laurel) is now discontinued with only a few left available, so wrestling with my urge to stock up on that one.
Fortunately, there are a few items with only a few uses left in them, so I will wait until I have finished items and saved enough before I buy my missing essentials.
I've started marking my HGs in blue, but will be reading with interest to see what everyone else rates.
Hope you all have a great evening!

I'm in again for August, thanks for the shiny new thread ruby_eskimo!
I'm not planning on any non-essential purchases this month, but it's the unplanned purchases that sneak into my stash that are the problem! I do need eye make up remover and toner so will have to brave Boots at some point.
I need to type up some more of my stash which I went through and wrote down in my notebook a couple of weeks ago, so can hopefully post that tomorrow (its shameful, I must have a decade's supply of perfume :eek:)No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

Thanks for starting the new thread ruby eskimo. I'm back although I'll be away for a lot of August. I'm planning on buying some duty free in Gibralter and will treat myself to a new bottle of Issey Miyake Assent - I'm down to four bottles of fragrance but none of them fresh smelling like this. I may pick up a new Clinique Lash Power mascara as well if I see one as my current tube is feeling light. I have a GWP mascara in stash that I'll take away with me as back up but it will get ditched if it leaves me with panda eyes! I've also noticed that my Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator is feeling light but can't justify replacing this before hols so will try the Johnsons one that Emma has.paperheart wrote: »Just a quick question though, does anyone else's OH have a bit of a toiletries hoarding issue too? Once I've got my toiletry addiction under control I plan to work on his. Whilst listing my own stuff, I was so surprised at the amount of shower gel (many with a tiny bit left in the bottom), and travel size/miniature men's toiletries he has managed to accumulate - some very nice stuff too! I think I might help him work through some of it - the unisex scented products anyway.
Welcome to the thread paperheart x I wouldn't say that MrM has a hoarding issue however my :money: ways are rubbing off on him and my daughter Emma as they now stand bottles upside down to get the last dregs out and cut tubes open. I spotted a tube of Gok body scrub of Emma's in the bathroom bin yesterday that had been sliced in half so your new :money: may rub off on your OH.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Long time lurker rejoining here! I did post my stash ages ago but no idea of what it is now. The bathroom was redone recently and there is less storage space than previously so I am trying to just keep what is currently in use in there. I do have loads of other stuff in bags and boxes all over the house. I will try to do a stock take and post it some time - might help to keep me on the straight and narrow!
Going on holiday at the end of the month so will probably need sun cream. I have already bought some factor 30 from Aldi and have loads of after sun and body butters/lotions/creams so won't be buying any of them. Might get some perfume while I'm away but don't have much of a stash of that.
I have started cleansing toning and moisturising rather than just using wipes and am only keeping wipes in my handbag rather than using them day to day. I have bought a couple of magazines that have freebies in them but other than that havae been very good, and will hopefully keep it up.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Count me in for August too, thanks Ruby_eskimo for kicking the new thread into action.
Need to formulate a plan for UU's, I have a lot of sample sizes to try, but found that I cannot change too many things at a time or I suffer itchy, red breakouts:eek:
I have ordered the Alph-H liquid gold, got free p&p and a £10 discount on supersize, but this will not arrive for a few days so will add it to August, still need to buy handwash (squeeked through this month) and need something to give volume to my chin length bob when styling - any recommendations anyone? I have lots of fine to medium texture hair which won't take heavy products.
I have a chin length bob as well and I use aveda volumising spray. It's nicely scented and doesn't make my hair free stiff like other boostersNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Thank you for the new thread. I'd like to be in for August as well!
Spent way more than on beauty products in July, and still have a few things in the post but after that, no more!0 -
I have almost finished up my Mac Naked Lunch e/s and there's just a small bit clinging to the side of the pan. Might just call it a day as it was a pain to get even a small bit on my brush this morning! Or will try and crush it a bit and put it in a jar to get the full use. Have a couple of other "lid" shades waiting in the wings to be used!
Have almost finished a mineral blush sample too and my travel size Estee Lauder Nutritious Mineral Foundation (have 2 more of these to go!) Think I'm finally starting to get on a roll with using the makeup up!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
