Wow! The final list made me laugh out loud :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I love rose so it sounds like a really lovely haul of products0 -

I know, I justified it with the "I have bulgarian currency to use up" line - but I could have easily converted it back to sterling.
Oh well, I saved myself quite a bit of money on the way home by not getting a taxi back from the airport (something I usually do) and getting the tube and bus instead and that would have almost paid for my airport haul. Better for my waistline than the giant toblerones I managed to resist too.
You notice I can find any number of excuses when it suits me, not hard to work out how I ended up with a big stash of products with that "skill"0 -

I have UU's and one is a full size item.
Eye Makeup Remover Clarins Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Lotion 125ml
Body Lotion Ren Vetiver v7 Hand and Body Cream 15ml
Both are WMBA I the eye makeup remover was nice, but think I prefer the Clinique one, I have a cheap one I bought last month to try next. With the body lotion it was nice soaked in quickly, but prefer the Rose Otto one.
Sorry didn't get chance to list my purchases, I will do that tomorrow, have bought loads of stuff not just toiletries. I am not spending mone on anything else now promise.0 -
Oh no! Am I being reported to the thanks authority?
Those who have been on the challenge for a while may remember the "abuse of thanks button" thread a while back, which sited our lovely thread as the culprit.
I won't report you, I'm just jealousI've had replies to posts I've made on other threads, where people have said 'thanks for the useful advice' or something similar, but not actually pressed the thanks button, which is annoying.
I have noticed that a lot of thanking does go on on this thread, but I've found on some of the other threads a lot of something that sounds like thanking goes on :rotfl:
Does anyone have a link to the 'abuse of thanks button' thread. Would be interested to read that - and am looking for diversions as otherwise I might have to do some cleaning3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

L'occitane pivoine flora 5ml - I need to get the full size of this, I love the fresh and slightly fruity/floral combination. YUM
Do you NEED to or do you WANT to?
That is the question I must try to ask myself every time I pick up a new bottle of something and decide that I really, really need it (and that should included alcohol).

A couple of UU this morning to (only slightly) counter the holiday extravagances:-
- Crabtree and Evelyn Citron Hand Therapy: WBA, I love this product, tried a few different hand scrubs and none are anything like as good as this, and the Citron scent is my current favourite.
- Organic Pharmacy Jasmine and Honey mask: WNBA. It smells nice but I am not sure it really does anything much - it's meant to be very moisturising.0 -

Me too.... and I should add cake / sweets etc to the list too. And books / CDs / handbags / shoes / clothes ....... I hate to think how much smaller my mortgage would be if I showed a bit more self control!0 -

I used to have a cleaning products habit - not very glamorous and you'd never believe it to look at the state of my house! I think I am pretty much cured of that one now, especially as they create more clutter which makes it HARDER to clean the house! I used to buy a lot of gimmicky items, most of which are absolutely useless - anyone got any ideas of what to do with 2 (at least) bottles of Shower Shine? Definitely a WNEBA!
I also used to do it with food - tins and packets mainly - but even they used to go out of date before I used them so I have definitely cut back on that. It was very rare for me to ever run out of anything - I think I used to always have about a year's supply of teabags. Again not a very glamorous habit!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I've cleared out lots of old store cupboard food items recently too - and yes, I have a massive selection of herbal tea bags for someone who rarely boils the kettle. Oh dear, well at least I'm in the right place for getting inspiration to control the spending a little better.0
