    Happy weekend everyone.

ValM - hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Adelaide - congrats on graduating, look in and see us sometimes as Trudi suggests if you have time.

Rosemary - boo to the disturbed sleep, but hope film is good.

Willowbee - well done to the sorting of nail polish, I have stopped counting, but I class it as my little hobby, unlike the toiletries which just got out of hand because of wanting to try new things, not wanting to miss good offers and just a general tendency to hoarding:rotfl:

I wish I could get into a routine and use up body butters etc, when I went out to work I bathed and moisturised body every morning, then put robe on while I got breakfast and put out clothes, now I have nothing much to do I never seem to get round to using it, I think I perform better when I have a tight schedule to work to:eek:

Another UU: Aussie Dual Personality Heat Protections + For Straightening Leave In Spray. WIBA? Yes, very possibly. I think it has been better at protecting my hair from heat damage than what I normally use, which surprised me as normally Aussie products do nothing for my hair at all.

I know exactly what you mean, when I was working full time and we had a slack period and I had been trying to look busy all day someone would ask me to do something and I would be huffing and puffing about it whereas if I am busy it just gets done without a fuss.

Ted is hilarious, we saw it over here the other day. If you like family guy you'll def like it! Some bits were very British, we were howling with laughter along with a few americans with our kind of humour and you could sense the rest of the cinema being all "errrrrrr, that's not funny...."

Congratulations on graduating Adilade and enjoy your holiday Valm!

I've got more UU, trying to get some to balance out all the INs lol. When I get back I think I'm going to try a hardcore spending ban on toiletries. Ive come up with the idea of no spend til the sales (as in dec 26th sales!) and Ive been trying to come up with rules I may actually stand a chance of sticking to because a complete no ban will just not work. I'm thinking of saying it doesn't include Amarya and any freebies I actually need now or will need soon or ones I get with my Elle subscription that I can't really control anyway, as well as stuff that I genuinely need. Then every month I do it properly or get a graduation in a new product I get a little bit more money to spend.

Thank you! :) It feels like I have lots of new colours now that they are sorted into colour groups :D

I fear that I have a tendency to hoard as well  My Dad is a magpie and my Mum is a minimalist (we drive her crazy) and whilst I'd love to have less stuff I also love to have lots of choice! Not sure how to resolve that contradiction... :rotfl:

Every so often I try really hard to establish good routines but it's really difficult :o In theory it takes 30 days for a habit to 'stick' but I usually try to introduce too many habits at once and then defeat myself :o

Evilsquid - that's a very brave plan! :T It's funny because I've been having similar thoughts (a good sign, I think) but I'm not ready to commit to a three or four month ban. I think that I'm better off aiming for a month at a time but the grand gesture of buying nothing until the Christmas sales is oddly exciting :rotfl: Best of luck if you decide to go for it.

I had a few NPI over the last few days - I had that absolute urge to buy something. Thankfully I didn't and the feeling has passed now. Does this happen to anyone else? It's really weird! I can't trace it to any particular set of feelings and/or event - the urge to buy just descended out of nowhere  (Sometimes it's linked to being overtired or sad but not this time...) The NPIs were two UD palettes in a sale, a couple of virtual baskets of offers at Boots, discounted make up at a new-to-me site and a load of really discounted hair and body care stuff. (The last one would have been the craziest as it was buy-one-get-one-free on body lotion/scrubs that were reduced to £1.99 from £12. The last thing that I need is body lotion and I struggle to remember to use scrubs!) Thank goodness I didn't press buy

Right. I'm off to shower and get dressed. After that I hope to photograph some dresses to put on eBay but I'll have to see how much energy I have.

VALM - wishing you very happy hols! :j
    Happy weekend everyone
