I love Daisy but getting a bit bored with it. I may try the Dot and treat myself when I go on holiday - I don't have a big perfume stash already, honest! No Daisy left, I just have a copy oil which is OK. I bought M & S Isis on offer recently and also have a Lidl one but not keen, despite all the hype. Just not my kind of smell. I've nearly used up Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom and gone off that also. I do have a little pot of Elle Mcpherson Bare which I love and will probably last forever - very MS to not have a spray!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Hello again ladies!
OK, so here is my holiday List of Shame...
Before I went, I popped into TBS to buy a gift for my aunt, at whose house we were going to stay. I spied that the hand creams were for sale at half price, so I bought both her and I one (I don't have that much left in mine, so it wasn't 100% unjustifiable). They tried to get me to join the Love Your Body club, which I was going to say no to but then they mentioned that it was £4 and I got a £5 shower gel (which was kind of what I had come in to get for my aunt) for free, and then I could buy the lovely polishing body scrubs next to the till for half price (£4.50 instead of £9). I bought one for my aunt and one for me (totally unjustifiable, but when I came home from work the other day absolutely sticky to the core and use it, it was so worth every penny!).
When I got home, I hunted down a S&G tin with Hand Food, The Breakfast Scrub and an apron in that I bought at the Boots -75% sale, put the polishing body scrub and shower gel in, and then realised that two hand creams might be a bit of overkill, so kept the two I bought for myself (!).
I also bought two eyeshadows and a liip gloss at M&S out of their Autograph range. I really needed some new make-up so I don't geel guilty about this, especially as it was -25% as it was a new range.
While I was away I had 2 sample UU:
Tresemme Vitamin C shampoo (100ml)
Elysl shampoo and shower gel (30ml).
What I am very pleased/displease with is that my hair has now gone back to liking Tresemme! (That's good, but all the running around I had to do to find something else when it has its major hissy fit was not good).
I also gave my S&G Glow Job to my aunt as I've used it once or twice but am not allowed to use it any more cos of a beauty treatment I am having on my face. It is bound to have gone off by the time I am allowed to use it again!
So, to resume:
5 INs
2 OUTs
4 GA (2 counted as neutrals as I bought them but then gave them away, but the other 2 were a true GA)
So there we go, I slipped off the wagon (in fairly barganous style might I add: all my TBS products were -%50 and the cosmetics -25%), but it will not be happening again.
(I gave away some, too: do I have to sit on the naughty step? :rotfl:)Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Have resisted the Dec on the Q so £5 in my SPC :j.
Another UU:
Liz Earle skin repair dry/sensitive - use this daily as my neck cream and it does a great job. For the past week have also been using it at night time on my face with Superbalm concentrate underneath and it is doing a fab job of moisturising my skin which seems to be a bit dry at the moment - I think a S&G face wash is the culprit! (of which more later when it is UU - hopefully later in the month)
VALM - we are showing our age on here remembering THAT turnip! Ha ha, that made me laugh when I read your post!0 -
I have 3 UU to report;
TBS Mint and Cucumber Earthlovers s/g - WNBA, as I bought it for the scent and the SLS free-ness but it smelt of banana! Couldn't get my head round it so will not be getting it again. Have replaced with Naked's Orange s/g but I find their scents a bit overpowering so we'll see how it goes. Might try Yves Rocher next.
Mac Naked Lunch e/s - WBA, when I've used up all my similar shadows! I crumbled the sides up and found there wasn't as much let as I thought!
Pure Luxe Beach Bunny Blush - WNBA, it was a mineral blush that I've had for a few years and the colour is nothing special.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

I presently have a roll on sitting upside down in my bathroom cabinet and a new 50ml roll on which I will probably take as hand luggage on holiday. Going to look for a dress to wear for a wedding today and I can hear Superdrug calling me:o
Was the offer just on aerosols or on roll ons also? I can resist the aerosols because last time I had one it didn't last five minutes, whereas the roll ons last forever. Only problem with them is that they take forever to dry, which is a pain when you're in a hurry. I think they're possibly more effective though.
noelphobic - sorry;) The offer seemed to be on all mitchum products but not all the fragrances - as it's your HG deo too I think it would be wise to stock up whilst it's this price:D:D (not that I want to encourage you or anything).
Thanks for the tip VALM about the Biore - I feel better using it now - I think there's already an improvement after only a couple of days - were you at the TC too? I didn't think JL there did LE products??
Have a grerat Sunday everyone

Well done SuiDreams. xnoelphobic wrote: »I have to confess that I am also a candleholic. Anyone else?
Yes, almost as much as I love buying cosmetics/toiletries. I have tart burners in my living room, bathroom and bedroom and a large candle burning in my hall although now I have the Autumn Lodge one burning in my kitchen too. The Warm Spice one is nice but smells like a re-labelled Cinnamon and Sugar to me.tokkiandoliver wrote: »I love that dot perfume. I had a spray in Boots and a spray in John Lewis yesterday. Not very long lasting on me unfortunately.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Emma and her friend got some goodies recently using this offer also. Saved her friend quite a good amount of money.kiplingmonkey wrote: »Have resisted the Dec on the Q so £5 in my SPC :j.

I'm back into using Skin Repair as well although I'm going to step up to the dry variety next time I buy this.
I still maintain that Blackadder was Rowan Atkinson's best work. xruby_eskimo wrote: »I have 3 UU to report;

I'm using the Fragrance Free version of this at the mo and it's not. It has a funny musty smell to it. Will persevere with it before I go away.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
