Why would any right minded company pay anyone to advertise when they can stick an advert on the side of their vehicles?

I would have thought the idea was that they had many hundreds of contracts i.e. more than they can service with vehicles of their own.

    Hi Money savers!

    The time is right....

Quite simply, the reason behind Covered UK Ltd failure was because the market did not support the demand required to run this scheme successfully. However, as we reside in the midst of the credit crunch, we are all looking for a way to find that extra pretty penny.
On the flip side, advertiser's budgets are being squeezed more than ever forcing them to consider alternative effective advertising methods than the hugely expensive traditional television, radio and poster campaigns. Advertisers are looking for something fresh, exciting and effective to promote their brands and we are in the perfect position to meet that need.

www.money4space.com has a strong team of advertising professionals with extensive industry experience and a strong network base within the outdoor advertising sector. We are recruiting drivers and cars for local, regional and national campaigns to commence this year (2009). Registration is free and there are no hidden charges (feel free to browse or terms) simply get paid to drive your own car.

With our wealth of experience, contacts and advertising expertise we are confident that wrapped vehicles will be on the roads of the UK from Summer this year. A selection of blue chip companies have expressed strong interest in the concept and we are now working on designs for those campaigns.

We have an obligation to provide drivers and vehicles of a certain standard and a minimum monthly mileage of 500 must be met. (This will be checked). Most people cover over 500 miles per month so the target is by no means unreasonable. We also do not accept drivers with points or previous driving offences, this decision was made to provide piece of mind to our client advertisers. We also do not accept vehicles registered after the year 2000, again this is to provide a clean, rust-free and up-to-date vehicle on which to place our client's advertisement.

If you meet the basic criteria and you live and work in a densely populated city or town then register for free today. Its a case of nothing to lose but much to gain.

    Kind Regards

Hello, has anyone done this to their own car? I am interested, but have reservations about damage to paintwork on 08 fiesta.
Does it come off without any damage???
    Cheers...
  • I have just bought a newish car (2007) and signed up a few weeks back. Still haven't heard anything yet. They must be VERY selective about who they choose!

It wont really damage your body work, but where the stickers have been the paintwork will be darker, so you will still see what/where the sticker said/was. A good example of this are ex Royal Mail or Parcel Force vans. HTH
  • @dickieg - Apparently you can take off the color difference with a ghosting polish or some such.

I was looking for something similar (I don't really mind what goes on the car, long as I get paid and I have a fairly new car - 2007 - A lot of these sites seem to ask for money upfront to even see their list which seems a bit dodgy to me.

My friend suggested I check out cashURwheels - They don't ask for any funds upfront and you get to decide what goes on the car. Has anyone dealt with them? Can't tell if they are working outside of Australia?
